@Ares-olimpico yes, this is Virtua Fighter after all, but being able to play based on match-up knowledge makes it easier to win consistently. With these two characters there is just something that doesn't let you make correct guesses.

There's nothing stopping you from playing the older games if a new one is shit. That's why I'd rather ports of the old games than a sequel.

Hopefully, VF6 will not be a toned down, watered down, nerf patched, tekkenised fighting game, because that would turn many VF players off, and make them lose faith in sega and VF again.

I myself am kinda sick and tired, of having to play older entries of fighting games, because the sequel, or later newer sequels suck, or totally suck. That silliness has got to stop.

Im worried VF6 only comes out on Switch. Xbox and PS need Outrun & Virtua Racing too.

But why most will trash Final Showdown for being "tekkenized" when VF3 is actually the closest to a Tekken game, but still gets praised...

I think it was the last good VF game in hindsight, due to being more innovative for it's time.

sega is refocusing their efforts to where they predict $ is.it makes financial sense, but not vf sense. unless vf has already been in their pipeline, and isnt canceled - then crowdfunding could help, if we have involved devs personally interested. think on this, errytime we decry or make any other action then those strenghtening our combined community love for virtua fighter, no matter from what angle or level.

Fucking disappointing. Satomi has no love for what Sega used to be. He's going to do to Sega what the new CEO of Konami has done to that company. No love for games or the history they created, but focusing on "diversifying the portfolio".

Fucking geniuses.

They need to make money, Sega is a failure of a company and needs some new leadership and a new direction. Please just enjoy FS Jacky Brodi ^_^
