80% of the true hardcore and real fans of fighting games from long date, don't really care of the story mode... To me it's like a "bonus". SFV...
Just make a new VF as good as the previous ones.
This console generation was decent for fighting games. Every big names had a new game (except VF of course !). And Smash Ultimate sold 15...
SEGA has been too stupid for missing the hype train of fighting games this generation, in comparison with the old one where it was all about FPS....
In fact VF characters are godlike and so catchy that you really want to play them all...
SEGA is scared, just inject a $30-50 millions budget for VF6 you billionaire sleepy compagny ! It would be so sick to see VF characters again...
I would look back to all the previous VF games for the stages, remix them or make them new/next gen, and add 2-3 new ones.
