Another joystick post...

Has anyone ever put Sanwa arcade parts on a Hori joystick. I mean, the electonic wiring is alreading in place and it would also be an cheap solution if one of your buttons got stuck or something. For anyone who wants the official grade parts, but doesn't want to build the base and electronics, this would be a good solution, right? Or would it be pointless and already discussed endlessly before?
