Um I saw a competent Aoi player the other day, he uploaded a bunch of videos, she's a fun character for sure... This guy has been real active lately, so dropping some comments on the vids will probably be appreciated.

Very situation-specific stuff shown here for the lengthy combos that involve walls though, as the uploader of this YouTube video mentioned. Still, the last two wall-assisted combos in particular were absolutely spectacular.

Looks like they are using a lot of newbluefx transitions in the video...

 

Yeah, I knew about this side kick side crumple combo a little while ago.

Don't need to do OM toward the back side of Vanessa to get this side crumple combo to work on her. But it has to be used to pull off on everyone else not named Taka. Also, leave out the to do it on Wolf & Jeffry.

I start liking his Aoi very much...

 

In my opinion they are the best aoi so far in VF5FS, it is a pleasure to see his play in recent Japanese tournaments. I don't know if they have been posted before but, he has a nice set vs chibita which was very spectaculaur. During this time he also had this amazing movement that he would occassonially use but, I no longer see it anymore. I never knew the translation for their name until now lol...

 

I can't read their name too, I just recognize them by their customization lol.
I don't remember the matches against chibita, was it in the same channel ?

Older videos are very low arcade quality but gold for Aoi players. There are of course some very nice matches with an amazing Eileen player who I adore, the black dragon lau that I always see in tournaments (lol), and another aoi player whose name I do not know.

 

That was Kakuribon, one of the 2 former Aoi star Players. Too bad we don't see him play anymore in any recent jp tourneys..
