In this episode of Harada's Bar, Harada continues his interview with VF5US/VFes producer Seiji Aoki where they talk about SEGA's marketing, how VF fans had given up hope like "people who have grown afraid of love", Aoki-san's commitment to developing the community within eSports, admission that the game wasn't 100% ready upon release and, oh, you know, a little thing like a Team Battle feature in an upcoming update! Also, did he just drop a cheeky hint at VF6 with the takoyaki!?

I particularly liked this quote from Harada at the 25:33 mark:

I talked to Ohsu Akira and he told me something I didn't know. So for Final Showdown I think you know this too, but there were standard combos when it first released. During that 11 year period the standard combos started to change. The combos all changed a lot. Even Ohsu said he couldn't keep up with the latest ones... So, in these 11 years when Final Showdown was released, it was said to be perfect but some things changed in these past 11 years. In addition, new players will come by free to play and the eSport world has been stirred together with it. So there's a possibility that it'll change more, <and> that it'll be adjusted in the future.

It's a testament to how "deep" this game truly is when its standard language (if you will) -- combos -- continue to evolve to a higher state, so much so that even some legends like Ohsu Akira can only bow their heads in acknowledgement rather than keep up with its pace.

And I'll take this opportunity to mention Twitter user kan (https://twitter.com/kanvfes) who seemingly lives in training mode finding the most highly impractical, yet amazingly ridiculous combos with the entire cast in this 11 year old game! Here's just a sample:

Team battles mode possibility is an awesome news.
I hope for SAVE REPLAY feature returns:
"Aoki san & SEGA, please, add to VF5US the SAVE REPLAY feature +ability to turn on Frame data during Replay and Spectator/VFtv+slow frame-by-frame FWD/BWD controls in replays = like in VF4Evo!This is important for cybersport analysis and for new and pro players to learn the game! "
