I received a message from a guy from another forum:

"...I found out today that VF5 Final tuned is definitely getting a home port [...] it's a PSN game at the mo. [...] not sure if it'll be on 360/XBLA or not yet"

Now, this guy on Rllmukforum is my source and I believe him, TBH I knew it would be a PSN/XBLA game if we ever got it, make perfect sense in this COD dominated market IMO.

Now, let the flame begin. Only one thing please: if you are going to flame me for this, please remember to send me 5$ if the game comes out, or shut your face NOW!

Jide hinted at this too in another thread and Myke made a cryptic response to that which made me wonder.

I would much rather a disc release for several reasons and if it were a PSN exclusive that wouldn't help it's popularity as much. I'll gladly take whatever though and I do have PS3 anyway.

 

Hm, after all those months ,I still believe that VF5FS will eventually come to PS3/X360.It's a very big game, and every other fighting game has been announced for the home consoles.But I am not sure how the digital release of FS ,will help the game to reach new players or players who left VF for other fgs. It needs to draw attention, so SEGA all have to do is to release it on disc and for a price of 40$/40euros, just like VF4EVo (although in Europe we had the full price of the game without the extras).Also I don't think that FS is small enough to exist as an DLC game. It has new moves,soundtrack,stages,characters,items,so it is not reasonable to release that way.

 

I'm a Rllmuk regular, and his source is a VERY trustworthy guy when it comes to stuff like this

 

Although it might limit the potential new audience somewhat, a digital release would be a cheap way of giving us what we want. Only time will tell...

Also, if this happens, that means the beginning of a new era of rumour...

This would be the redmption dating all the way back to us not getting Vanilla ver D. Hands crossed hoping its true.
