Kakutou Shinseiki V - Japan's national VF tournament. Qualifiers, I think start between 11/29/08 - 1/25/08. The tournament begins in March.

I saw sin# name came up quite a few time in the regular Sega tournaments, Jacky player right? SHU is playing at the kanagawa ken place also.

 

In Sega's regular tournaments for VF5 "A&B" and "C&D" versions, Lion was the 11th-12th (out of 17) most used character. In VF5:R, he was the 4th most used character (out of 19) in Sega's regular tournaments.

Hey Stomp, don't know. My Japanese is very rudimentary, no where that I can recognize characters immediately off my head. So I did not look closely at all the participant's name (I don't remember what Shou's ID is either so that doesn't help). There is still a few qualifiers left and some that was completed this weekend.
