My quarter pound beef

Believe you are a 5th dan, you challenge a player in the quest mode who is in the Master Rank. He or she will be next to impossible to defeat. From the fact that they are perfect to block every attack you perform on them, to finding that certain moment to attack you.

So, okay, you start thinking to yourself "shit, I will never defeat these people in this certain level". But suddenly you, yourself, get the master rank. But this time you challenge the same player who killed your ass the last time, but this time he becomes so predictable, so damn easy to defeat that you just think "is this the same bitch that I couldn't even land one punch?"

So, the problem that I have; The game over exaggerates the opponent skill level when they are in that certain rank. But when you get to that same rank, the computer lower his skill so you can compete with that person. You are never really fighting that person's real skill level.

 

It does that? Can someone else confirm that?

Sounds like a good strategy on Sega's part for boosting the player's ego, "I couldn't beat them in the beginning but now it is so easy!!! I'm getting so good, I'll post about my skill in a forum!"

About the blocking of all attacks, sounds like Saturday. (lol lol sob)

 

Or maybe after getting your ass kicked so many times you've become aware of the AI habbits and is able to defend and react better against it. Why don't you create another profile, play until 5th dan, then challenge a master, see if you can beat it easily.

 

the AI turtles and does that up down up down blocking frenzy poop.

when the AI does that, I just let them come to me instead.

If I attack them while they are in their retarded turtle mode from hell, I will get my ass kicked.

so I just play their own game and turtle the crap out of them and kick their ass

Nothing says PWN like ahving your Brad's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif blocked to be thrown to your death.

So instead I back away and let them leave their guard and take a step forward which basically says "rape" all over it hahaha.
