I wouldn't read this as an indication of popularity. If you read through the timestamps you'll see that there's a lot of casual play prior to the tournament starting featuring a couple of Jean players. Because it's just arcade gameplay, it's a winner stays on format. Also, at the end of the tournament there's around 40 minutes of (exciting!) ranking battles between Reorau (GO) vs DensetsuSP (JN).

So we're really talking about 2 or 3 individuals that just happened to feature on stream more than most.
