Shun Di "don't mess with me when im drunk"

I know shun gets stronger the more he drinks, but has anyone made a chart...besides that japanese one
' that is real hard to understand,(after translation). Oh...and what is this i hear about Shun being able to

Shun's movelist on this site has a list of what moves and combos he unlocks when he gets drunk, and how many drinks it takes to get them.
I don't play shun so I don't know his chart, but as far as I know he does 1% more damage for every drink he takes. If you get 20 drinks, that's 20% more damage, so a kick that normally does 25 points of damage will do 30. You max out at 40 drinks. At that point, a kick that does 25 points of damage will do 35.

Hi. I'm new here. If I mess up posting in the wrong places..let me know.I learn reasonably fast. Ive become a VF4 addict ::sniffles:: but unfortunately, I don't have any one to play with. My kids just aren't interested in getting pounded I'm afraid. So I'm stuck with Kumite. I'm aware of how much more challenging human opponents are tho. When I can get my son to man controller2..... he's 10x harder to beat than the CPU at any level Ive managed so far and he's a button masher. ::shugs:: I work with what I have. So the reason I'm here. I don't much care for for too many of these characters I guess. All but Lau, Pai, Lei and Shun rub me the wrong way for some reasons. I managed to get to adept with Lau once.. then found my file to be corrupted...... grrrr. too much work with that guy. So i thought Id try Shun. Looking around the net for tips on Shun I came across your forum. In general it seemed Shun was not too popular, and that not too many were getting very far (in Kumite) with him. It inspired me to work it out. I love the Shun now. I have my Shun at 8th dan, and keep cruisin since I finally read about the advancement system with the dans..it's pretty relaxed going until the CPU freaks out here and there with some bizarre pumped up vengence thing going on where it insists in wasting me in a hurry. I dont fret.... I just pay most attention to winning those 5 matches against the same ranked players and dont stress the rest. I have some strategies, and Ive found some interesting move link/combos I havent found posted yet. I'll post what Ive got soon enuf. Just testing the waters. Thanks for having me here... G

Yeah, I'm new here too. It's hard to get any human competition here in the states. Seems the most popular characters are the ones like Jacky, Lau, or Akira. I prefer to play as Lion though(mainly because of Chibita).

I gave up on Shun a while back because the game just wasn't the same for some reason. I 'm best with Jacky even though that probably doesn't mean anything to you guys since Jacky's so damn cheap and I'm only facing the CPU.

 

Calvin, if you play as Lion then why dont you change your phrase to "Eat my "Silver Lion Knock-Out Lunge", take that...? /versus/images/icons/smirk.gif ?
