Social Media and other links - at the top?

Myke - I was wondering if it is feasible/beneficial to add links to VFDC's facebook and twitter pages at the top right corner of the website (at the same level with the VFDC logo or directory bar).

Having links to the facebook/twitter pages at the very top might bring more exposure/awarenes to people who checks VFDC on an irregular basis; but may view the social media sites on a more regular basis.
