Strategies against specific opponents

Hey guys, I'm brand spanking new here, i've been lurking for awhile tho.
Can we get a thread going for strategies against every charactar on xbox live.

 

Ohhh, and another quick question...
What is Lei's best answer to duck punch spammers?

 

There are so many types of play for every character that this thread would be useless overall. The best players change their games on the fly so much that any strategy used would fail after one or 2 tries at most. Any strategy thread would very like be for the average players and below that only use one main style and don't always have the knowledge to go against it in all situations. This was said before and what I said just now is essentially what they said back then. If you want to talk about specific moves that may be useful against the moves of other characters that would be plausible but an overall strategy I don't know about that.

 

Yeah, thats basically what i meant, not strategies to play individual people, but rather strategies to play specific charactars. (very shallow ex) guard agianst low moves agianst lion, and use movemente against lei)

Read my extended list, that should help you a lot. I haven't written down strategies vs chars. But you can find your own very easily, if you understand my list. The hard part ist to understand it /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

 

Best thing to do I just G or side step with lei vs 2P. In some situations 1P+K is good. 9K+G mostly executes too slow and you eat the 2P.

Use Dokuritsu Shiki!

It automatically counters high/mid/low /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif attacks from neutral. There are some exceptions such as Akira's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. Basically look out for attacks where the opponent throws awkward double fists and such.

Try pressuring an opponent using /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif (neutral). Some will try a quick punch attack to stop you from spamming.

When that gets old use /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif
or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif
