Its clear that either the OG's that originally picked move sets and made characters unique are either gone from
Namco or have just turned over all the manual programming to the inexperienced programmers with AI tools.

Moveset selection, and character balance is an art form in fighting games that is honed and perfected through years of experience and engagement with the FG community. When these are turned over to the inexperienced developers and AI tools, or if experienced developers are forced to use online training data , copilot (like tools) and machine learning to code moves set and balancing Tekken 8 Season 2 is what you get.
