Tierlist or tipps for beginner

i will be new to virtua fighter when it releases for xbox360!
i played doa4 on somekind of highlevel and just wanted to ask if there is somekind of tierlist for virtua fighter 5 or if someone can get me general informations and/or tips to reach a high level as fast as possible!?

Hi DieKrake! VF5 is a very finely balanced game, so it doesn't matter what character you pick - you'll be able to take on any one else in the cast without a problem. In general though some characters are easier to get the hang of than others: Pai, Lau, Jacky, Lion and Sarah are all good choices.

meine xbox is gestern krepiert un hab auch absolut keine erfahrung in virtua fighter aber kannst mich ja n bisschen vermöbeln un ich dich hoffentlich dann auch in doa un irgendwann in vf=)
aber können wir machen je nachdem wie lang das dauert mit der reperatur!

Hey it doesn't matter as much in this game, and is probably several times less confusing than DoA but this should be the tier list for ver. B

S: Eileen, Lei Fei, Kage, Pai, Shun
A: Brad, Goh, Jacky, Lau, Vanessa, Wolf
B: Akira, El Blaze, Jeffry, Lion
C: Aoi, Sarah


This is probably not going to be so for 360 version as many changes have been made. Specifically Pai and Shun have been nerfed a bit and Eileen/Kage have taken minor tweaks. Also Jeffery, Aoi, Lau, Akira, and Sarah have received some big upgrades.

 

Here is how to take the "easy" way out:
1) Get the game
2) Search the forums, get info
3) Play against good people
4) Move to the US or Japan
5) Play
6) Practice
7) Play
8) Flame people on the boards
9) Play
10) Move to Japan
11) Play
12) Play good people
13) Play some more
14) Put your ego aside
15) Play
16) Realize their is no quickest way to get to high level play
17) Play
18) Move to a place with more people or travel
19) Play
20) Play some more

I donno it all starts to blurr together these forum sites. Though I must say this is the best forum I've ever been a part of.

 

You can pretty much do what ever you please on doac without any sort of punishment. Things that will get u banned here are fair game over on doac if you know the right people. *cough*cyberevil*cough*

 

there is definately an air of integretry around here. Very fitting for virtua fighter's community.
