trouble downloading from rizm.net ??~

is anyone else unable to download files hosted by rizm.net? such as the exhibitions at , <a target="_blank" href=http://ww2.tiki.ne.jp/~htrkbn/>nice cat but chicken. i am only able to download files partially before the download is interrupted by a malignant guardian. [frustration]!@#%~

 

Well I DLed the top 2 Chibita Kage clips, but I am not sure those are what you meant. rizm.net is also giving problems here, with the third and fourth clips... /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif

 

yeah, only the rizm.net is a problem for me. /versus/images/icons/crazy.gif

 

View the source of the orange download page with the download button, search the source for 'wmv' and click find next to skip to the second instance. You will see something like ../userdata/1032/blahblah.wmv
copy that to a download manager or whatever you use, and type http://www.rizm.net in front of it.
you should end up with www.rizm.net/userdata/1032/blahblah.wmv
and that will work.


EDIT: To view the nice cat movies... I did the following. First, the links on nicecat's page are fuxored, they have "default.asp" in there where it shouldn't be. Get rid of it, then copy the rest of the link as-is. Stick that copied url into a DL manager (putting it into a web browser isn't working for me). This will save the http://www.rizm.net/usrplay/blahblah/ link as a file on your desktop. Rename the file by giving it a .htm extension, then double click it. It will show a barebones rizm.net orange screen. Follow the steps mentioned earlier to discover the link to the movie buried in the page's source.
