I feel like Sega bamboozeled people with the DLC a bit, or at least I don't recall them clearly stating anywhere before launch that you have to own the Legendary Pack and/or the Yakuza Pack to get any customization items for characters as well as costumes C and D respectfully. Even with both DLC packs it feels like bit of a rip-off since the total available customization items absolutely pales to what you got in VF5FS.

Man, I just found out this doesn't have crossplay with PS4.

I thought REVO was like an update for Ultmiate Showdown and brought a native PS5 version.

But nope, PC only.

I'll be playing the hell out of it but I'm sad I won't see many of you there.

Man, guess I am really rusty...been playing ranked all day and have not won enough to rank up yet.
There are some monsters in the lower ranks.
Might take all week to win my rank promotion match.

Is the connection in ranked really bad for anybody else? I'm only playing green, and match after match, frames are missing; players are teleporting; I got a network error. I thought it might be on my end, but all room matches were fine.

EDIT: fixed after advice below.

Do not immediately accept a match. Wait 5 seconds or so before accepting a rank match. Check to see if that green connection changes to something worse.

Are SEGA really going to leave the customization option in the bare state it's in? Also how is it possible for there to be no customization items, and have the C and D outfits locked? SEGA needs to restore all the customization options two years ago.

For those that just purchased the standard edition of the game (aka barebones version) there is the Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. - 30th Anniversary Edition Upgrade.

There is customization items, but you will have to pay for it. If like VF5US PSN, if you have the patient to wait, they will go on sale quite frequently.

Just sharing ..

I've found, that VF5REVO is playable even on less powerful PCs than the minimal/recommended setups.

It's worth to check it live if you have opportunity.. The graphics will be downgraded, but frame rates might still be 60fps. It depends.
