What Happened to Vanessa's Reversals?

Ok, old head here. I remember Vanessa had numerous high and mid reversals, both punch and kick, with exception of knees/elbows and a few sweeping moves. This was present in VF4, VF4 evo, and I'm pretty sure it was also in VF5. This was the last time I have played until having just bought this. Am I going crazy or did they remove the moves?

 

Her reversals got removed in Final Showdown. I never realised since I was a PC player.

 

Man that sucks. That seems like a drastic change to a core mechanic of the character. I understand you shouldn't rely on reversals, but I do appreciate the occasional use when someone is not expecting it. Thanks for the quick reply.

 

It is doubtful the developpers know what *IS* the core mechanic of this particular character, as evidenced by them removing the style-transition knees and backhands (the logic being that they infringe upon Lei Fei's gimmick) and then reinstating them.
