Just a dumb question thats been floating in my mind ever since I got the new xbox live! desktop. Has anyone tried using the "invite party" function then sending out invites to members in your part and seeing how that turns out in VF5 online ? Does it work such that there is a rotational game between players in the party, or does it work as usual ?

I wanted to give this a try, but haven't had the situation where I can give it a shot, so was wondering if someone else has already tried and has the answer ?

We've used it before to have several people talking in the same channel, but I don't think it allows a "lobby" system in VF5. Unless someone has figured out an extra-special trick?!?

When I've done this, the party is just audio. You can't see what each other is doing in VF. If 2 people in the party are fighting each other, the others in the party just hear what they are saying. You can fight people that are not in the party, but if you want to talk to them, you have to switch the chat channel to in game from party, and then you lose audio with the party, but I'm pretty sure you stay logged in with the party.

It's great to hook up with frineds for a conference call, but it can be very confusing when 4-8 people are all talking over each other at once.
