On the 10th and 11th of May 2025, EVO Japan hosted the 19th VFR Beat-Tribe Cup tournament. May 9, 2025. For your convenience, 19th VFR Beat-Tribe Cup Schedule listed in 4 different time zones. BT Cup up to Wild Cards Stage (EVO Japan Day 2) takes place on Sub Stage J. BT Cup Final 16 (EVO Japan Day 3) takes place on Sub Stage JP. Links to streams in the thread.

Lots of VF activity at Day 1 of EVO Japan 2025. SEGA's booth, Tetsuko's VF Party with a 3on3 Random Team Battle, and Isamu Yamagishi of VFR/Beat-Tribe fame received the Cannon Award.

VF Lives Tournament, a collaboration between Maximillian, SEGA, and TNS is the largest online event for Virtua Fighter with over 300 participants, over $4,000 dollars prize pool, and plenty of VF memorabilia given out to top 8.

Virtua Wars is a team battle event featuring a variety of veteran VFers, popular streamers, and professional players. This is a collaboration between SEGA and G-Star Gaming, a women eSports team. The two teams will be led by well-know VF veterans Ohsu Akira and Bunbunmaru.

SEGA just announced the grand prize for winning the Virtua Fighter Open Championship (VFOC) is $100,000! Qualifiers will be held in North America, Europe, Asia (all Asian regions except Japan), and Japan. The first qualifier to start the VFOC will be at Combo Breaker.
