Except that fuudo and the Japanese largely play offline and are by the far the best in the world and destroy all of the west's online warriors in VF and SF. Online can help you improve to some degree I agree, but it has it's own ceiling and there is no substitute for the real thing.
Except that without online VF, this community will be dead as fuck. If not more. Noone will be playing this game, and if yes, they will suck even more.
I am sorry but your arguments have close to none relevance to the topic of Valles message :^(
Valle's message is about new players year one or two in SF5 and I agree for the first year or two online is helpful and he's gonna make tons of money off of them with his "online league" and subs. He isn't saying 4+ year veteran players benefit tons by playing online though, get real. And this community is mainly 3+ year players in FS and the scene isn't growing and 360/Ps3 servers days are numbered, just enjoy!
Uni, with online this game IS dead as fuck right now. Valle's message has zero relevancy with a game so dead, why do you struggle so? Please move on T7 is on the horizon, or perhaps SF5 is for you. If you intend to stay on FS playing the same 2 people then stay free!
I remember, I didn't know much to anything about how VF is untill I went to NL. Sure, I only played an average of 2 ppl every tuesday for a year & a half & 2 NYGs. I SAW my improvement every time I went to each session. Always trying to think ahead. Be it the little match up I saw. Akira, Jeff, Sarah, Aoi, Kage, Goh ect So yes, I will throw shit @ online.
cause when I got my net, I saw the crap VF ONL was. There's no morals, & It made me play worse at times bc I didn't yet know the difference. So, NL & Dojo brought me where I am.
