Yeah, that's what I meant, block first then interrupt them if they keep attacking.
Use [2][P] to interrupt their offense then go for your mid attack or a launcher if you get a counter hit. If they are gonna keep pushing buttons...

You don't even need the same pack as them. Even the single character item packs are 1.93Gb so you should still be able to see other characters...
