I see your point there, not a whole lot has been changed. The gameplay however looks addicting.
I am fairly sure the VF5FS petition made it's impact, and the game is in some stage of development.
Probably a modified version (toning down a few movies), and it will definitely go multi platform as there aren't many Xbox users in Japan. .02
