Any other old bastards?

Really I am the youngest? Wow!

 

I can't remember how old I was when I had the 32X. Virtua Fighter looked kinda dorky to me, but I was limited on the amount of games available for the 32X. What kept me playing it, was that my dad and his friends liked it. It was easy to pick up, but challenging to pick apart each other's strategies. I got a Saturn instead of a PS1 because I wanted VF2. Then got all my friends to become VF fanboys like me

 

Same here, but in need of an oil change.

 

Thread title made me laugh, I turn 30 this month so I guess im in the 'old bastards' club too now haha

 

I'm 33, played VF2 when I'm 19, .

Hahah. Yea man, I remember thinkin 'Got the arcade machine at the house! No more 50 cents to play' lol. Man those consoles really did do a number to the arcade scene. Even if I had an arcade next to me that had FS and Super Turbo, I'd go, but only drop like $10 a week every weekend. If that. And that'd only be for a little bit (or dwindle down) till I got to know the regulars, than I'd be all 'Let's go to the crib! Free Play all night mang! Bring ya own stick cause you aint usin mine.' Hahah.

 

36 here and I consider myself to belong in the "old bastard" category.

I've been feeling old recently. This thread made me feel better.
I'm 27 but victory knows no age! Just look at Shun and Lau.

 

lau's pretty much dying and still wins. Good on him!

The next time I give my actual age will be when I cross 70 LOL.

So I've got to be one of (If not ) the oldest on VF. So you young cats should be reguarly kicking my ass, but with over 2000 matches in ranked VF5FS and only 250 losses, somebody's got a lot of practicing to do. I'm that old monk with the long silver beard and the long silver eye-browse. I plan to still be posting long ass posts on VF and still kicking VF ass when I'm 100 (exactly why I chose Shaolin Kung Fu
