The Hori VF5 Live Arena Stick is cheap (quality-wise) stick made by Hori. Its the same as the DOA stick, just with VF5 artwork on the base instead of DOA.

Unsafe_Dan's review of the stick (called EX2 in US)

So basically, the stick's behaviour is sorta like the PS2's SC stick ? At least, comparative to the PS2's VF stick.

The review of the Hori Stick was certainly interesting. If u are willing to shell out money for a joystick that gives u better control over your inputs, Modded VSHG is definetely the way to go.

Just wondering why Sega didn't create another "VSHG" for the XBOX 360..my impression is it would sell like hotcakes considering the good reviews given all over.

My guess is that there isn't enough of a user base to warrant the production of VSHG for the Xbox360. Sega is all about the moolah nowadays it seems.

Anyone up for a game at Bugis tonight? Planning to head there for a while after work.

I imagine part of it is also licensing fees. Pretty much anyone can make a PS3 controller if they wanted to. They have to go through MS if they want to make one for the 360.

Hey guys! Long time no play or post!

danny: Fortunately I don't think I can go to Tokyo with you this time...way too busy, and no spare cash lying around. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

farp: I would definitely like to take you on your offer to mod a VSHG with an Xbox 360 controller for $25. Let me know how I can pass the money, stick, and controller to you.

All SGers: I don't play much any more but I'd like to think I can still put up a challenge. Add me on Xbox Live -- my id is Goliath Slayer. Hope to be able to make an appearance at Bugis soon as well.

    Re: Cineleisure 15th Dec 07

    Isn't Thursday Hari Raya Haji??

The E2Max we held our session at is located on Level 9 of Cineleisure. They have around 8 Xbox360 setups arranged in the lounge area. Each setup consists of a comfy sofa that can hold 3-4 people.

Currently including myself, Paperstone and Wyrd are confirmed in tomorrow's session. So thats 3 sticks, enough for one setup.

If Jovian or Esquire can join we will have additional sticks, and more setups would be feasible. Of course, we could also play using the joypad.

Anyone is welcome to join! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

List of whos going so far:

    Confirmed:
    Paperstone, Wyrd, Remy, SG-Lion, Drift

    Maybe:
Jovian, Esquire, Ice-9, danny13, Rukalir, Rii, Kev

    E2Max website and their details:

    E2Max@Cine-L9
8 Grange Road, 9th Storey Cathay Cineleisure Orchard, Singapore 239695
