Actually, my bad. I only ever double bounce Shun for a reason. Triple doesn't hit. Goh is triple though, that one I'm sure of.

I was messing with this in the dojo today and got it on Shun, as well as Jacky, Goh, Lau, Kage. Can't for the life of me do it vs Akira though, I'm sure it's impossible on him.

I think you are reading the weight info wrong. Shun is almost as heavy as Lau. He is at the top end of the middleweights. Goh is practically a lightweight as he is on the bottom of the middle weights, same with Brad. Were you looking at it in the wrong direction?

I can't for the life of me get more than one on Brad. What a freakin screwed up hit box. Jacky is a lightweight in terms of jugglability. You can hit anything on him. Kage is fine for tripling up on also. Getting it on Lau though is a feat imo.

That's how the system is, but I think it's really unrealistic.

Lightweights are definitely ok. Middle weights are all wrong. According to the guide we have

El Blaze Goh Brad Kage Lei Lion Shun

But I think that something like

El Blaze Lion Shun Kage Lei Brad Goh

would be much more realistic and fair. How on earth can Goh and Brad weight less than Lion, Shun and Kage?

In VF5 its less about weight and more about hitboxes (especially when refloats are concerned). This leads to heavily character-specific combos although of course weight still matters.

listen to the two sounds Akira makes. He makes one for the single palm, and another sound for the elbow. THAT is the spacing. You have to get that sound in your head, and do it with your fingers, even though it won't match the sounds he is making from the screen. Try imagining the sound in your head AS you press the buttons to make up for the fact that it won't match the sound from your tv. For most just frames, the timing is the same as their sounds, but usually you have to enter it before you see it coming on the screen.Hello!

So if you get a wall hit after the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif part you could end it with something like /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif> /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif> KNEE. He doesnt, but because he is a weird hunchback he is difficult to hit when he is floating. Also characters might float too far away from the character so your combomoves wont carry far enough. Its not all about weight anymore. Theres a ton of character-specific combos in VF5.

ps. Danny, the 71 point Brad combo works on Lei too. (Just as difficult though)

In VFR when you escape this throw Akira pulls out a gun and shoots himself in the mouth dying instantly and erases all VF.Net info forever.

Combo 1 is for mainly Akira at 66 pts which shares the same damage with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif > /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif > dlc

Combo 2 doesnt work on Goh, Kage, Jacky, Akira & of cos the heavies.

As for combo 3, after /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif bounce, the first /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif causes the opponent(watever weight class, full wall, half wall blah blah..) to hit the wall and can techroll/quickrise to avoid the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif> /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif(release /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif within one frame)

Chose Lei as CPU, set position centre, push Lei slightly forward so that after the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif part he doesn't hit the wall, there, that's the only time when the 2nd hit of /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif hits.

In version C, they really made it easier to land on Brad compare to previously.

Nope, I have just done it in a wall-less stage. Took some mighty doing though... I may try to video it at some point when I have enough energy. Not only does the punch need to be spot on, the second kick may need microscopic delay. You know the punch was on target if the first kick causes extra refloat. For sure one of the hardest combos of Akira.
