I agree with Plague that it isn't the end, yet. Let's wait until they iron out all the bugs in the arcade version before we ask for a console release.

 

I know one thing- Sega's now on my boycott list. I won't buy anything PC or console developed or published by them until a new VF comes out.

 

After some more thought: Seriously... No current plans?! That's really a non-answer. Every day we don't hear "VF5R is being released on console" we are hearing "no current plans". Thanks for stating the obvious.

What the fuck is wrong with Sega...they build up everyone's hopes with this mysterious announcement, then they prove that they are a miserable failure of a company, by announcing literally nothing new. "No one is porting the game".

I'm not sure what they could afford to develop looking at these financial figures. It is possible that they are just in the market for new capital before announcing certain titles like VF5R for console. At least that is what I'm hoping.
