I guess we spammed it to death... or maybe it was the vid of me singing and playing the Faith cover that did it.

You can send them from other peoples email? will that work? Just put in any valid email or does it filter my IP out???

There is an IP filter on the submission box. Just have your friends set it themselves from their own IP and own emails.

    or...

    Use a proxy site!

This way you can keep sending from the same IP. You have to search through the results to find one that works and isn't full of spam though, you still have to use a valid email address too I think.

Im new to this so, can I safely surf through one of these proxy sites at work and not have to worry about the IT dept.?

hmm, i'm really not sure about that. As i'm an unemployed hobo the concept of NSFW is alien to me.

It depends how close IT is monitoring network traffic. As long as you are not eating up bandwidth (downloading/uploading) using a proxy or IP site should go unnoticed.

Some sites are blocked at my job. I use proxy sites if needed.

I work in IT at my job and a lot of people ask me how to view blocked sites. I won't flat out tell them how to but if I see someone using a proxy I turn a blind eye.

Gernburgs, your IT department will still be able to monitor your browsing because you must go through them first before you hit anything on the internet, proxy servers included.

you --> IT --> proxy server --> the internet

All the proxy server allows you to do is visit sites on the internet without leaving your personal trace on them, which does not achieve what you actually want.

Gernburgs, I had a response which I posted here so as not to derail the thread any further.

Rather than messing with proxies, have you tried using remote desktop to remote into your computer at home and surf from there?

So is it coming to console or not?

The more I play SC4, the more I want to go back to playing better games... Hell, I'm playing Tekken 6 now, and I miss Virtua Fighter 5... but I dont have a 360.

No one knows yet, man. If you want to increase the chances for it being made for console, please submit to segas opinion box as every employee at sega will get that email. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

At some point Sega could set all email containing Vf5r to go straight to the junk mail bin. You might be able to have more of an impact if you inundate SEGA AM2 with post cards and letters. It's hard to ignore a room full of sacks of fan mail. Physical mail may have more of a visceral impact.
I would'nt worry though, I'm sure well see a home based Vf5 r by early 2010. Im betting on a DLC version on XBL.
