Dragon Lance Combo!!! HELP!

I figured it out!!! You have to actually do it kind of slow and methodically. I was finishing the motion too fast. I could see that I was hitting the right directionals on the display, in dojo mode, but I was still getting the whimpy version. I slowed down a little and hit the last direction and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif later (I would guess as the elbow was hitting) and I got it. I did it eight times in a row at one point.
It seems to me that you have to do it at the exact right time and you CAN'T do it too early cause you get the whimpy one. Theres an audible rhythym to it when you do it on a stick and I could hear it slow down as I started to get the real DLC out. I actually slowed down the first two parts to give myself a little less time to the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif
