I find Akira and Vanessa's style to be the most 'life-effective'. Brad's got um, issues... To me, sports martial arts [spectator sport specifically, like boxing, kickboxing, etc.] aren't effective.

Vanessa's got something that freakin' IS MMA. And Akira's tech is very practical for close range combat. That and as far as power goes, being able to generate 1-in. punch power with EVERY part of your body is definitely a highlight of Akira's and Baji Quan in general...

Why grapple when you can put your foe down with one hit? [note, in terms of real human anatomy, ANY of Akira's special attacks/combos should be enough to dispose of your foes if not outright kill them in one use... It's too bad they had to balance him so he has to hit people with TWO of his special combos/juggles to kill... ;(]

 

I am a trained wrestler in Standard Olympic style and Greco Roman. Plus I study Boxing, so I have been able to pull off some moves, but only in friendly situations with my friends.

That said, in a real situation, I have hit one move. Jacky and Vanessa's punch catch. Really, anything else could get you in major trouble. (Even so, the guy didn't feel like fighting after the follow up, but that's a story for a different time.)

I've done many of Wolf and Jeffry's throws on trampolines. I can comfortably do these to 215 pound participants (remember, pro wrestling is all about cooperation). Sad I know, but damn are they fun at parties!

 

I actually trained in the same art form as kage, though he dosen't do a lot of the moves that the art form actually uses. His throws are on point though so I've done those a bunch of times. THEY REALLY hurt

I randomly like to do moves from fighters that I like (VF and DOA) when I'm standing and idle, and sometimes when I'm standing and have a lot of energy.

I always try fighting game moves safely won my nephews when I play with them. My family calls me crazy. But I like to dominate real life noobs the way the I want (and Dissmaster does so too, apparently). I'm not a violent person, tho; I just fake and "do moves".
