Goh managing: updates, ideas, etc.

    I couldn't get the CH K (sidecrumble) combo of anyone, I don't know if you did and OM to get it to work or not but that's what I got...
    I was able to get the 46K sabaki of Sarah on Closed Stance but not Open...

    Back on track, will be active again on REVO launch on PC. We'll be getting new combo lists, new move lists and most likely an updated wiki too. There's some background updates that need to be done on the site before those go up but they are coming sooner or later.

    Looking at Goh's current combo lists I was never particularly happy with the galore of dash frameless 66P+K combo's having been added there but I also didn't want to remove them because someone put in the work and they technically work. When doing REVO combo lists I'd like to not include them or just include them as a footnote. Keep things match-practical and as concise as can be while including realistic max damages.

    I'm not sure what you mean by dash frameless combos. Could you clarify further? Maybe give an example? This is of interest to me since i'll probably be doing the same for Brad at some point.

    I don't think Brads got anything like that but I might be incorrect. Goh's low bound is 66P+K which like Kage's 66P+K comes with the ability of being done at the listed frames if you you input is absolutely correct or coming out 1 frame later due to the natural dash frame due to the 66 input which is really difficult to avoid.

    Looking at Goh's 3P+K for example there's combos listed on MW's with 66P+K which I would never attempt in a real match as it doesn't reliably bound mid-weights. Similar problems on other launchers as well.

    I see. In that case I'm not sure I share the sentiment that they should be removed.
    If they technically work, then some people will have the ability to do them comfortably, no matter how hard. We shouldn't presume the technical abilities of the players.

    You may add a note under the combo explaining that it requires a very tight timing, but it should still be in the combo list in my opinion, especially if it's max damage.

    After 10 years on this game, probably spending more time in practice than most, and from what I can see, being more execution heavy than most; I can't do these combos in a match. I think mentioning them in a footnote is worth it though. Mentioning that it is possible but not putting it out as a major point.

    Can I ask you, what percentage can you land 3P+K, 2P, 66P+K on Goh vs Goh?
    I think these should be easily approachable resources with the most relevant information. Super deep deets like this don't need to be on the combo list.
    EDIT: change the character in subject seeing as my original challenge was a stance locked one.
    EDIT2: I might've made it easier seeing as Brad's got a big back and is generally more easily bounded. Still I'll keep that.
    EDIT3: LOL nevermind, Brads big back made him a prime subject to it. It was always free on Brad. Reverted to original question. Sorry for all the edits but I want something that reflects how it is on most of the MWs.
