Good close games with TeamCHI Wolf. You were good at punishing me for stuff that most people won't. I thought those fights were really fun.

 

AdamYUKI: We've got to get some matches in at some point. I've heard good things about your Jeffry from Jesse among others and I could use some experience against a good Jeffry.

And went 1-1 with ever evading "VFDC Killer"

 

Good games EndCA!! Those were really close and fun matches! I think we got to the final round in all of them.

Also GGs to TMCHI Wolfy even though all he wanted was ringing me out and hit me with that shoulder charge all the time. The fight I lost it was in fact a really good game because he just started using a lot of different (read: not cheap) and interesting moves. But the spamming of that charge most Wolfs use led him nowhere, hehe...

In all, after a week of not touching VF5 -ProEvoSoccer 2008 and some Bulgarian girl to blame - I had lots of fun after being initially pounded by everyone and the 10th kyus. This game has no equal. PES has a TERRIBLE lag in almost every match I played.

 

GGs to you too, Happy Friend. Those were some fun matches. I'm trying to find a healthy balance between offense and defense, and I think I'm getting close.

Cadorna, I fought another venessa that DC'ed on me twice last night, so I'm having trouble discerning the two. Think you beat me both matches tho. Did we have lag? I seem to remember being very frustrated about something.. And I do like ring-outs..

No you didn't DC, it was Vape81. A Master. A jackass.

 

That would be 'Democritus'. I put the smackdown on him last week.
And Vape81 sucks, I played him in Player Match and it was very irritating. We ended up in an argument, he better hope I dont run into him in Ranked match.

As long as you don't do that in Ranked, that's just fine.

Ill tell you whats wrong with him, DM and Low Punch. The problem with these guys is that they refuse to learn defensive tactics. And then talk shit, how will they hold up in off-line fights. The normal rules apply off-line so I would crush his Abare style, hell I do it on-line. I ran across him in player match and he did that crap. The one time that I came across him in ranked I ended up saving that replay LOL.

 

I'm probably not going to do ranked for a while. I was trying to get my 8th Dan back but fights and good times are few and far between now. I have a huge problem when my /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif comes out 20 mins. after I inputted it.

I'm just going to rest and hope I don't cough as much later.

 

Thanks MasaRED, by saying fundamental skills you mean like basic skills?? Haha...I guess I got a long ways to go!! Yes I do use Brad since I randomly picked him when I started VF5 which is my first VF game. I didn't realize he is a tricky character but I ended up liking his character a lot so stuck with him. Maybe I'll try other characters to get a better feel for the game.

As noob as this may sound, I don't really know what 'hit-check' and stuff means. I know what throw-escaping is but I have a hard time trying to pull it off. I've learned everything I know by just playing online. I'm 6th dan so I guess I'm not that bad right?

Still gotta learn some techniques, which is why I really want to go to that SoCal meet-up later this month so I can learn some real skills.
