Wanted to give a shoutout to Kidvid, hated him after the first match, he owned me and went with a cheapy ring out. played him again and did much better, still did a cheapy ring out, but you know what, if Lei Fei had one i would use it so i can't hold it against him. his game is either a) really tight or b) just good against me style, or probably c) some of both.

You should've seen it. NeoGeo even said "Who threw a blue paint bucket at that Pai?" or somethig like that. It was Costume C with blue pants from Costume B with the blue hair and blue everything. He teased it so much I had to tone it down a bit. Seven5 had the Devil Pai. It was pretty cool!

Hit-checking is the idea of switching what move you do next based on reaction once you see whether your previous move hit or was blocked. For example, Aoi has a move "6PP", the second punch is guaranteed if the first hits, but the first punch by itself is much safer on block. So, the best way to use the move is to just enter "6P", and then if it hits, hit P again, and if it gets blocked, then you want to not enter the second P, and usually block instead since you're now at disadvantage.

GG to everyone I fought against last night. JCruz, Brisal, I know you both crushed me, but it was fun. Llanfair, another fun match.

Sugar_man... what happened to your GT? Someone not get the weird al reference, and complain about it ending with "hoe" or something?

 

My favorite is Shun's 3P+K (charge or not). Does anyone know the recovery on this? It seems instantaneous, even when it whiffs.
