Don't even get me started on button mashing. Of course everyone knows I'm the Undisputed King of Button Mashing. Oh well, I'm and old guy with a job and stuff to pay for. I can't take the time I used to have to actually learn other moves in a character's arsenal, can I?

good games to MasaRED last night. You really had my number. I couldn't sleep so I thought I should play VF. I knew I should have stopped playing because I couldn't focus, but still I tried and failed. Congrats on Assassin.

GG to all i played yesterday. I played a 5th dan akira that owned me, 4-1, aahhhhh, the embarassment. I adjusted some, and was trying out some new tactics....working on the evasive evade, yep you read that right. Well results say i should discard evade all together but i'll keep plugging away until i can use it consistantly. All in all, after a two day break, it was quite pathetic. I struggled or got owned by all, and yet somehow i managed to beat Konjou Akira! (accidentally joined his game, i was on a 4 game lost streak and looking for something easy, pressed x one times too many,and....tada) And i killed him two rounds in a row not even doing the move i was attempting. It is the epitome of high skill I know.

Yes, I felt that you didn't have the strength you usually have last night. I guess that's why I promoted to Assassin from you. I also knew it's hard to stop playing rank matches once getting started. It's really addictive. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Am i the only one I to think we should split the GG thread into ranked & player matches?

 

That is a wonderful idea that way we have better way of knowing who playing ranking and who is playing player matches. Should we take this up to the moderators first though to have them help in this.

 

I think its unnecessary your really just congratulating people you play. You can play either it's not like because i play ranked I refuse to accept a player match.

 

Yeah you are correct. For players like us it's very difficult to find a challenger who tests all of our abilities. So when you find one, you never want to stop. I knew after I lost 3 times I should stop because I didn't have the focus to win. But it's so addicting that I just couldn't walk away. Although I got destroyed I still had lots of fun and learn a lot. Shun is just so hard to beat with out proper focus, so I should have known better. Well hopefully I can get my revenge after I get back from Socal. I am going to just take the next few days to give my mind a rest. See you soon.

 

Konjou: I thought I had a decent stratagy (if you call it that) when we went at it. I'm still kicking myself that I took my foot off the gas for a few moments.

MasaRED: Gotta give you your props.

It's a shame I can't go to those long range tourneys at the moment.

Hopefully the next slump I go through will only last a few matches.

GG To Dre Fei. My 3 week rust really shows and your monk is devilish like a motherfucker lol! minor lag issues messed up rising kicks timings but still no exuses. Things will be different next time trust me lol!

Akira performance. That's literally the 2nd time I played
Akira in VF5 and I only know like VF3 things with him. (I
played VF3 maybe a total of 30 times) It became painfully
apparent that I didn't know how to deal with his linear
playstyle. I think that my akira = your goh lol. It's like
we both played with 3 moves for those characters. Good
Akira/Jeff matches though!

Denkai! Probably the best I've played against you for the short
time we played. (granted you were playing Lau, I don't know if
that's one of your "guys" or not) I only got routed one game and
the rest were kinda close. We shall play again, I must borg more of your shit.

Dabadseed: Damn PPP X I felt like I was playing a Kyu but I kept
getting my ass kicked by it haha.
