I warned xbox users of the horrid gamestop pad before..your only choice is the Hori Pad

 

I bought a decent gamestop controller at a pawn shop recently and it seemed as if it was modded as well and is almost as accurate as a PS controller. Many of the inaccuracies were removed and I got it for 20 dollars. I don't know how bad a new one is but my used version is actually very good better than any new 360 controller by a considerable margin. How bad is a new one control wise. My games online have improved some because of it as well.

 

i bought the gamestop pad earlier this week,cuz my old one broke the week before, but after a hour i realized that one of the triggers was unresponsive and the up button on the directional pad seemed to be really sensitive, i couldnt back dash because of it, i took it back today and exchanged it with another one, and now i have a hard time evading to one side, the problem is minor compared to the other controller, but i think id take my old controller over it, regardless of d-pad

oh and does anybody know if i can take the controller configuration i had offline, online? im playing tonight for the first time in a while, and im already rusty enough without having to get used to my old configuration

 

the best way to handle this is set what is player 1 config to player 2 as well because if you join games you will play the 2nd player controls. If you host them then you use the 1st player controls. This is it short and sweet I hope you enjoy yourself online

ggs to pompeyfraz for beating me with akira and then getting destroyed by my evasiveness (ever a work in progress) when he was using jeff. it was nice to get one back, even if it was tainted, hehe.

ggs to VF5359 or some such. Man you just got my number, nothing like playing someone who you THINK you are better than but can't beat them. thats its own level of frustration yet makes playing them so much fun. I have about 3 ideas that would totally put a stop to you beating me, but i just can't get myself to do them consistently, i need to go dojo it up i guess. Its hard to break out of the mold that makes you effective and adapt to one individual player but hey, it can be done. of course if i did that there is nothing to say it would earn me more than one or two victories before you changed things up, gg.

and lastly but not leastly, GGs to Sakelee. Its nice to play and take a set from a master+ even if you got the advantage on the last match.

Lame... my worst night of play in weeks, and you finally record some matches;; Yeah, I was totally off, just distracted or something... I kept pausing to try and decide what to do next, and then 5 seconds later in the middle of a throw animation I'd kick myself for not having tossed out an elbow or something. Pretty clear you've started to figure out Aoi though, and play a little more aggressively, so I guess it probably was both.

Also, GG to pleportamee... got some fun matches in after Sugar gave up his apparent goal of breaking every bone in my body;;

 

Well the brunt of it was me killing your low punch setups and abare but you know you already do this to much. Without that tool you were a bit more careful with your approach. I need to play her more to get better answers t our elbows. I think I had it last time.

Special props to Fire Flood, Hawkeye, vf5395, SMB is me, efg2, and Camo Lescooc because you all played good lions and lei feis. I was starting to think good lions and lei feis didn't exist thanks guys. I began to play ranking again and I managed to without over stressing myself that is a first, I would have played player matches more but the really good people quit after 1 match or 2. That really gets to me some times because if it has the beginnings of a good match and they quit after a 2 couple matches it takes away from my ability to learn from that match and improve on my consistency with the character I am using.

 

Just wanted to say ggs to sensei shinn akira. Damn but I can't make a single mistake or I'm punished by losing momentum and then the round. Nice work, bro. As always I learned a great deal.

 

GGs to Denkai! I knew you were going to challenge me I tried so hard not to get demoted, but I finally got destroyed after a few hours' tough fights. But I'm proud that I managed to endure for a coule of hours fighting you, haha. See you soon online!
