Really? Cause when I played soul katana, he just bitched about how jacky is an easy character to win with and that i got lucky 'noob'. His words.

I'm forgetting.

Blahzie it looks like I've finally found out how to play you.
I hope I didn't irritate you by playing you so much that's
the only way I learn really.

PompeyFraz playing you I think has made a lot of other akira
players look slow. I really didn't know what to do before but
I think I understand a few things. I still don't understand
a lot of those back turned situations and what I can do as you
can tell.

Auvii you were really tough man. I play a little Jacky too and
our Jacky vs Jacky matches were real fun. I like goh but he's
a little emo and Jacky playing is refreshing.

I'm finding myself liking this game a lot. Too bad it's
not more popular.

I've also played SoulKatana plenty of times, it's clear that he started playing VF with the xbox installment but he is also clearly progressing. I remember sending him a message telling him that starting the round with a sweep is really risky. I don't exactly remember what he replied but it was polite. His Sarah is flowing better each time we play, he started doing more throws, gg SoulKatana.

 

GGs to Beligerent Feck, I burst out laughing when you single palmed me over the wall.

Cheers for taking the time for all those matches, I learned quite a bit.

GGs to everyone I played recently. Ive been pretty pissed off with online play and havent given out any word ups' sorry bout that.

 

Awesome games to vf5395 your lei fei kept my vanessa guessing the whole time and when I thought I got a good hit in more often then not it was negated by a sabaki or side step. I thought I could get you when you were in a stance far away using my /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif and it worked to a certain degree but not enough my /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif seem to do better for that purpose. Either way pai's speed really made the difference with my pai I could sneak hits in more often and overcome your random lei fei tactics better while my vanessa was a few steps too slow doing the same thing.

Also great game to AbleKnight a great Jeff player and we must went at it for at least 20 player matches or so and it was perfectly even. I was able to fine tune a few combos I liked doing in quest mode like her OS combos that link right into her tackle something I haven't done in a while. Great game

vf5395 is the only lei fei to sabaki my move as much as he did. Even the better ones don't sabaki my moves as much they just beat me up before I can even do anything to them period. Anyway I play 10 ranking matches and got ever so closer to reaching 7th dan (I have never been ranked higher than 7th dan before even though I had that rank once before.)

good games to MrXperiment (good Vanessa), Dem0critus (Jacky good tight match to the end), DAMNuWEAK (Kage, I am not a big fan of kages much), and every one else I faced in ranking matches.

ggs shadoolord sometimes i use lei fei too much in a defensive style of play lots of sabakis and changing stances to avoid certain attacks but i know it wont work all the time against very high ranking players

Was that your aoi I fought earlier, the tag and your names here look familiar. you have a basic of a decent aoi if so kind of reminds me of my aoi to a certain degree.

 

I played some scrubby people tonight like MrExperiment's Vanessa (Abare) DamnYouWeak's Kage, (dont even remember the fight)but I had a GREAT time playing ShangsterBoston's Wolf and Frakimus's Wolf man, I kept wishing they would come back. I love those strategic matches, battles of the mind and not 'How cheezy can I play bull$#%^t'. Thats what its all about to me, not how can I milk the internets lag to my favor. It was almost like Konjou and I doing Akira mirrors, you counter my counters counter of me countering you. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

 

GG Shinn Akira. I think you've been on my friends list since forever and I think this was our first time playing. Crazy I know. But damn it was fun going back and forth with you. Definitely got a top Brad there. Looking forward to getting in more practice with you.

And GG to everyone else too, even though most of those matches were super laggy and not really good. Things got smoother the more I played so maybe it was my end needing to get warmed up (if that's even possible) or it was just Live acting up. I dunno.
