ggs to PompeyFraz, Beligerent_Feck and Geckolimus. I played with the characters I felt I hadn't taken online quite as much as the others today and it gave me a chance to test them out a bit more. So thanks for the matches.

gl0ry85, Your Jacky has improved since we last played, infact i'm almost positive that i'm thinking of another Jacky player haha. You had some good setups and was way too tricky for me.

C1REX, I got to be honest here. I really don't understand how you play, you just kinda stand there a lot and throw out the occasional knee or splash mountain. It totally throws me out, it feels like your playing a different game. If you noticed after the first few matches, I jut ended up messing about throwing out 6p and 3k. I was mocking the fact that you seem to only be able to use 3 moves... but you do use them well. Sorry for being a dick /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

erdraug, you've got a nice Vanessa there. I'm not used to playing her and i'm unfamiliar with her strings so I really enjoyed these games. Thanks man.

BF - I use moves, that works. If I find that only one move is working on a certain player, then I will use only that one. Depends what opponent I play I use different moves.

If I see, that you don't hit check, then I wait, block, and do knee on MC. Playing abare against Jeff is so risky.

3K MC -> 2K+G - you almost never quick roll -> 8K+G - massive dmg from basic middle kick. If this move works so well, then would be stupid to not do it often.

I try to base my game on yomi. I try to learn my opponent's timing. If somebody always wait 1,5 second and then attack, then I try to do knee after 1,4 second. That is an explanation why I wait so often when I'am on advantage.
It doesn't work on everybody.


On other players I use A LOT of delayed moves/throw mix up.
Maybe hard to belive but I've got some props for my style.

 

C1REX uses a hell of a lot of moves against me. Players that do
best against me throw out all kinds of moves with different
intervals.

I think he has a similar playing style that I do but he takes
less risks. He's a baiting/punishing player that really only goes
after you when he smells blood.


I think BF said a similar thing about me some time ago but with
more angst /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

 

C1REX is a beast. Ive learned quite a bit from sessions with him.

I've learnt a lot from you Sugarman. Your yomi is one of the best on xLive IMHO.

If somebody complain about defensive way of playing, then I suggest to try play abare against good players.


Jeff is defensive low-tier char. Definitely not easy to play.

Brisal73- I am sorry about the last time we fought when we were disconnected but this time around it was great. I was shocked that I held my ground against you, I expected you to play more like Chief Flash and his crazy wolf. I didn't think that Wolf could giant swing someone out of bounds though I have never seen that happen and you did it and that was the only lobsided sided match between us. I hope to see you again I really enjoyed our matches.

Cadorna- Good Vanessa I had a few hickup on my potential ranking match but aside from that good matches.

Guardian Evo- Another good Vanessa the first of 2 matches was a classic though. I was reacting to vanessa's DM /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif avoiding it and broke out of a potentially fatal tackle to win the vital second round. awesome matches.

Johoseph- Your goh always gave me fits and I finally beat you for the first time and I was shock that it took me so long to do it. You have solid goh regardless good job.

Moldaiver- You guys might complain about how he pulls matches from you guys but he never pulls out when I play him. He actually plays a decent pai but not a great one. For some reason I struggle against him (really good pais always seem to have my number regardless not just him because they beat me to the move I am going to do time and time again)

I managed to get 7th dan back and I am happy and I think I finally found my nitch with my pai character at long last and I am enjoying myself in ranking matches again like I did when i started to play in ranking matches. Once again I hope I can keep it this time.

 

GG shadoolord and HOWL. Howl is one of the only other Gohs I've met that actually tries real combos and setups. Including the pure badass OM /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif back crumple throw when you tech to the sides. Great games to him.

 

Have you played GentlemanThief his goh is rock solid and uses many advanced setups and combos I don't see many goh players do

 

Hope your not thinking I was mad at how you play, it only annoys me cause I don't know how to deal with it. So it's entirely my fault.

There is one thing I think is totally stupid though... how you always refuse to use any other throw than /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif even though I was escaping them the majority of the time, haha.

Yeah I see what you mean about yomi with the delayed knees, you're pretty good with that but I don't see where else yomi comes into your play... Unless the turtle to the other side of the screen 3K MC -> 2K+G is yomi too, you do have to guess whether i'm gonna stand there or charge at you /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif

Thanks for trying to explain man, it gives me a better idea of how you're playing and what you're trying to do.

Anyway, I did'nt played much jeff on live but it seems I can't handle him well, especially on his range (I don't expect to get hit and WHAM half of my bar gone away haha). And you always eat big dmg

 

Yomi just for knee? This is almost 50% of life bar. If I can predict your attack, then obviosly I will go for max damage = knee.

If I see LP (blocked) then double-palm after makes me very happy = knee on MC.

I do 33P+G because it is max dmg, easy, from crouch dash.
You escaped few times but still got damage after. Even if somebody escapes that throw I still have good options.

I'm not sure but propably I escaped more from Akira's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif throws, than you from /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif

GG's to Slide, you have the best sarah I have fought thus far. YOu really helped me improve my game and our matches are always tight as shit I love it. We'll fight more in the future.

 

Improved?? she hasn't gotten any better seriously I am just playing more consistently that is all. Nothing I am doing now is really shocking to me because I knew I was good enough to do what I am doing now. It isn't coming out as much as I wanted it too until now and there is still much to do and improve on. I lose most of my matches to you guys in VFDC anyway and if I want to ever get a chance to challenge for ranks higher than 8th dan consistently, I will have to win some of them because people at that level don't play around.

I would love to see you one day later regardless Tricky. I learned a few things from our last battle I am taking into account even now . I am even added a few of my more advanced combos in as well on a round by round basis based on what you said to a certain degree
