Cadorna we played a few on Saturday night, lets just say I had a few drinks that evening heh. But they were fun matches.

 

Good games to JEC Jay Dee 3 (I think that's close to his name...) Nice long set against your Brad. That was the most "Sudden Death" combos I've ever landed and they do monster damage when I can get them off. Good games though, nice oki game too.

 

ggs to Linz: yeah i totally choked in that ranking up match, embarassing but thats the way it swings some times, i choked even worse in my subsequent rank up match against some Vane, at least i was competitive against you.

GGs to Worst: Lol, well you played good, i was busier watching your goh than fighting him, not sure where my mind was at on those 2 matches.

GGs to subbers: nice back and forth, I definitely think you came out ahead on me this time...and you ranked up, lol. (altho ranking up isn't as sweet once you've been master a half dozen times and lost it)

And there was a 9th dan sarah in the mix there too.

sadly...it was the kicks. I remember one round you won with that stupid kick over and over, lol, I almost ended it all right there. Something about your patient 1 strike offense was killing me, and then the second match i tried to do it back to you, but obviously, thats not the way you fight with lei fie, and obviously, it didn't work too well.

 

Dude TWP's Goh is a real pain in the ass!

 

Good games to seven5suited. We played quite a few yesterday, i knew there was someone i was forgetting. Nice 2 finally play you. its always wierd when you see a guy on here for months then finally get some matches in, lol. Thanks for all the games. Look forward to hittin it up again.

strangely gotten better. (Either that or I'm more of a cautious player because of
the lack of reaction time that comes with playing once a week.) Bro, we gotta meet

(am i right?) anyway lol ¬ awesome jeff, i knew it was gonna be mean so i tried to close it down early¬ i know when you picked up the pace you started being hulk (a green jeff would be so sick!) -- anyway, i really enjoyed the games, i was looking for a good workout for ages!

Linz: You have a good lei, its always nice to have another quality top-notch lei online to deal with. you'll be master in no time. Right now you and VF5935 are the only ones who are I know are going to beat me if i don't bring it (and if i do then we have a fight on our hands.) --Cozby isn't on that list b/c our playtimes apparently don't coincide b/c i rarely ever see him on. altho he's surely out of my league now that he's super cozby, guesss its cause coz don't sleep.

Some 8th dan Goh who i played a number of times. You owuld have been better if you woulda went for more strikes and less throws, i'm assuming you were just jacking around, or trying to work on your throws?

And lastly, and this has been a longtime coming, i've berated this guy for inconsistency and crappy set ups a few times on teh bad games thread so i'll throw him a little love over here on GGs.
Good games to me. I've finally put together a quality 2-3 day stretch, and seem to playing with some of my old mojo (not that i was ever that great). But its nice to feel like i'm not playing like pure crap, to not lose match after match slapping in the wrong move, and to not freeze up every time my opponent or me gets 1 hit from death. i'm sure i'll debase back into crap mode in no time, but for the last two days i've almost been playing good.

 

You shouldn't be so hard on yourself.

On a serious note the POLES (Posse of Lei Enthusiasts) all
play on a very similar level...against me at least.

VF5395 - More Passive Aggressive
Wasted Wish - More Aggressive
Liz - More of a risk taker
Cozby - the most aggressive
and Marlo (being on the lower side of things) defensive.

Cozby is the most experienced out of you all so he gets the
edge. If you get a chance you should cop some games from him
but unless things have changed he's a night owl of sorts.
Notable players to get some more experience with playing
Lei are:

Konjou - Not his main but an interesting take.
M3NAC3 - Not sure if he plays much VF anymore.
AkiraZero - His style directly conflicts with mine.
Risen Glory - In my opinion the best Lei out of the ones
I've had the chance to play. If for style points alone.

Anyway my 2 cents.

 

ggs to netrom84(jacky) and cheifgutti(sarah): damn, somewhere along the line i got confused who im facing, lol but ypu 2 are realy strong for this stange of training, hope you get back in the game soon enough, especially after the euro2008. lol nah, i dont watch since england didnt qualify

gutti: it's cool to know ur visiting london soon, so ill talk to the guys and we'll try to arrange something. the arcade here is alittle expensive, mabye there's some other venue somewhere we can steal. but no worries dude, we'll play ¬

Johoseph: Matches came down to who could make the fewest mistakes.

foglio excel: Good Pai, had a lot of trouble dealing with your stuff for a while.

TH3 KILLAH: Also been a while.

Blazie: You're making me think the first time I beat you was a fluke. Then again, you're also hitting me from just about everywhere now.
