Social ruin: Nice stagger recovery. Try not to play on auto-pilot though, that may explain your 'slump' a little. As you're playing pay attention to the results of every encounter, see what works against the other player, see what doesn't. Keep consistent the things that work, and change your reactions to those that don't. Every round is important, and if your opponent is good, you can expect them to change their reactions multiple times each round. Analyze whether they can stagger recover, whether they always techroll, under what situations they evade, when they throw, when they throw out low punches, when they jab. Adapt, then overcome. As you progress you'll be able to keep track of more and more information, but practice on remembering what happened last time for each encounter. Try to find efficient ways of categorizing that info in your head so you can remember more. If you find a general rule, exploit the hell out of it. For example: "This guy always guards high after I connect with a low-punch" or "This guy always evades after blocking pp" or "This guy never guards low." Also, try to make it so that no general rules apply to your play style, because then you can get consistently owned. Also, don't forget about delayed attacks, they work well for higher end players, not so much against mashers tho.

GG's to The Worst Player. Great Jeff you have there. I picked up quite a few things from our short set.

 

Thanks Cigar but you had some solid setups yourself. I don't think I've ever done toe kicks of doom in my entire VF5 career pretty neat. I can't even do it in the dojo. (Hell may have done 3 toe kicks of doom ever)

 

Yea the TKOD is something i spent a little time getting it down. I counted it in the match i saved and i did it 4 times in that one game LOL. So cool to see Jeff running at your knowing you are DEAD!! Now I can hit it about 80% of the time. Honestly i find the 2k 44 236P+G much easier to time then with out the 44 in it.

What i really like to do is K+G 2k 44 then throw. It does some serious damage!

ty linz. u were killing me with evade throw, evade throw, but u know what? i passed it on. my opponents now get evade throw from time to time. Also, i've pulled outta my mini-slump. i m focusing on finding good opps in player of my bad matchups. Segue to ggs to dee tha gee, a blazer who has a habit of whipping me once, deciding i suck, and not rematching me. Well tonite he whipped me but stuck around for awhile and i even go some wins. A rivalry like nail vs hammer, but whatever. its an improvement for me and now i feel like i have a few ideas against blaze...like block his attacks. Cigar we need to mix it up again sometime. I need practice against jeff too and i want to see doom toe, and everybody else not named lei. ggs to most who beat me that i dont remember.

That's true. It's neat that he can do it so well though. Now that I know I'll just duck or spam PPP, think that will beat it too if I recall.

Another VFDCer here ready to say you got the best Brad ever. I have an idea, lets start this whole parade over with a new charactar...BRAD is broken..lol. I can't even stand up against this guy, he's like Blahzie on crack. He may be the best person i have ever played, lol, it was like he fought the whole match with a +5 advantage, i couldn't even slip in duck punches. absurd. totally, absurd.
