gg to godeater and truewiseman. thank you guys for being a bit patient with my controller issues. Speaking of which I finally modded my controller and tested it out this morning. It works great so far. I can finally crouch dash without side stepping or accidently punching low all the time.

So from now on if I lose then i just plain suck. =P

Dre - I give you mad props for a few reasons... even when your rank was on the line you picked multiple characters and also hung in there for a long time. I must say I was surprised I did better against your Lei than your Akira. When you made your last switch to Akira I beat you the first game and then lost four in a row. I was all set in my mind to get to Barbarian again but you destroyed that idea. I did manage to get to Barbarian this morning against a couple Japanese players. Anyway, good shit! See you soon!

mitojac - I'm sure never visits here since he's a Japanese player but had to give props since our matches were very close and interesting. Lag wasn't that bad either despite the gray icon. I don't think I need to say sorry for ranking you down to Enforcer since after I became Barbarian from you you took away half of my bar already. Good times!

Kagemaru GH - Same as mitojac, I doubt you visit here but thanks for the games!

 

for sure lets get some player matches in or ranked matches is cool too. i have been playing alot more ranking matches lately. but either way i want to play you again. to bring on the Pain!! hehehe

to the uninitiated: lei fei ppp only lands all day vs noobs. pp works well, but u can literally go days without landing the 3rd punch if ur playin moderate competition. the primary 2 reasons i do ppp is for the mixups off the ensuing hai stance after 3rd p, and cause its f-in hard not to do all 3. I cant tell u how many rds i've lost with ppp, when i wanted pp and the beautiful world of options that follow. one of the next steps in my evolution is consistantly/confidently throwing pp out. its hard tho when ur joystick is ganking u

Oh my fault. I havent been on VFDC all week and I was trying to remember everyone I played these last 3 days. Most of the people I listed I played either today or last night.

 

I cant actually man, my fingers have been getting worse. I cant really bend my ring and middle fingers on my left hand right now.

Plus, the guard button doesnt seem to want to work consistently anymore...

 

Ggs to VF5395 it was odd playing you in ranked im so accoustomed to us going rounds n rounds in player. Out of all the Lei's, yours is definitely the coolest IMO

Ggs to GentlemanThief you had alot of good defensive tactics for what I was throwing at you + i was having trouble adjusting to your offense. Fun times nonetheless

 

I may have been landing it because people don't expect a player

It hit Cozby a few times, VF5395 more than a few times, Blahzie more than a few times and others who are considered respectable players. That's why I said I was SURPRISED. Maybe I just got
lucky and didn't have to wait days? Must be it. <=====TheLuckiest Player.

TWP: thats the thing about pp and ppp, it never STOPS working. All of the lei fei players just mysteriously stop using it. Keep using him and i'm sure you'll go the same route.

Mista_Tea: Fantastic Sarah you have going on. Great movement, nice defense (either reflex or anticipation, i'm not sure). You fell into some predictable patterns but probably not as many as i fall into. I'm trying to work on some new stuff offensively and defensively, but then i play someone like you and lose 4-5 straight and that goes out the window in favor of trying to win some matches......damn pride.

Tony Fam: nice lau. How does playin a number of different charactars effectively help your overall game? or does it? You had an interesting/unique style.

KoD VFDC: nice 2 play another VFDCer for the first time. Nasty Jeff you got there, put a few more knees on me and i woulda thought it was TWP. you shoulda kept hittin me with that stupid.

 

Yeah just like I stopped using Knee after every other move /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

yeah GG. My stick is acting up. it never seems to move foward on the 1P side when I am tring to dash. I had to change a lot of my game play just to use it. Hey If I am being predictable please point out what it is that I am doing. I would like to correct those mistakes. some of them I am very aware of, some I do purposely, but I am sure there are many others that I am over seeing.
