Good Games Thread

GG to Konjou Akira last night. Thanks for giving me someone to get the dust off my eileen from the past month of not really playing very much. It was awesome and I was psyched a lot of my new tricks actually worked. Haha I could tell how after I'd get a win you'd fight harder than you would after you won two in a row which was cool. Made getting a streak a lot more exciting because each round you'd fight harder when you lost than when you won.

I was generally happy to get off my ETEG's and the mind games were just hella fun, good shit bro.

 

Yeah, it's been too long! I just didn't feel like playing VF for a while, but somehow I came back yesterday. I was surprised to see your Shun much more solid last night. I must confess that I didn't put throw escape in at that moment. Yupa VFDC: You're another favorite to play against. You don't take it easy on me for a second and I like that. All our games are close and intense. Plus, you're helping me to learn Sarah a bit more

Rare Entity: Man, sometimes your el blaze can really get me hot, but it's all in good fun. I have to rush you hardcore to even stand a chance. You're pretty freakin good though, and we've gotta play some more. I need some more practice against el blaze and you're just the person to beat some knowledge into me.

Konjou Akira- I haven't played you in a good while, but it was nice to get a long session in with you today. Playing against you opened my eyes to a whole new level of playing and GREATLY improved part of my game overnight, seriously. I immediately could tell the difference when I played other people after you. Thanks for what you taught me through all those matches we played. I will continue to apply it to my game

Other's I've played and should want to mention gg's to: Blahzie, Shaka Zulu, Godeater(Great Jeff!), Killa Ken, and oh yeah, Ohnoyoudidnt VF...Great akira. Those were some close matches, and I don't think you're in a slump at all. If that's your slump, then I don't want to see you at your prime...or maybe I do so I can learn from you. GG's to everyone else I forgot to mention....Oh one more, Monkeypunch..thanks for playing me early in the morning. I'm glad that somebody was on. Good games! Okay now I'm done...for real.

Tsua: We had some pretty good games. At first you wore gettin me pretty nicely, but after a while I started catching on. Then as soon as I started timing those evades you started throwing out that half circular kick with Lau(I think it's half anywayz), and had me at bay for a good bit, until I turned to plan B, which was put on some hardcore pressure. Good games though. We had to use our minds a lot to out play each other. That's what makes this game so much fun

Beligerent Feck: Damn...your akira is good. I remember it being good, but not this good. And I hope you don't mind me joining your room in player matches even though we generally only have 1 bar. It doesn't bother me much, but I don't know how it is for you. Good games though.

 

Thanks a lot man, you got a decent Akira too /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif I don't mind playing you at all, the lag does make it a bit difficult but we still have fun matches and probably half the time I miss stuff it's because of my sloppy fingers and not lag haha.

GGS UKDiddy! I'm still just experimenting w/ Lau at the moment as he's not my main but damn, you're Akira is one tough SOB lol! Very intense matches although you definitely got the better of them. Damn how do you get out of that stagger throw? Is Akira's launcher guarenteed after? I tried moving the stick back and forth like crazy but I'd get hit everytime....I'm guessing the only way to get neutralize that is to break out of his throw completely lol. Those ring outs hurt everytime DOH! Anyhow ggs bro! LOL we kept on going back and forth but in the end, you adjusted better and laid the beat down on me. Grrr, until next time mwahahhah! =]

I didn't want to send this letter, I railed against the notion but I feel I've little choice.

I have gone to your facebook and see that you remain active, your continual status updates indicates that you live quite a busy life. I have to assume that's the reason why you have yet to respond to my many emails.

I do worry though. Having phoned your mother (google is my friend) I was able to get your phone number from her and have called several times but no one picks up. I've left no less than four messages for you but have not yet heard back. It makes me nervous - I watch CSI and I understand how vulnerable young women are. Please let me know that nothing untoward has occured since I lost contact with you.

I do hope everything is okay. I look back on our first and only date with nothing but fondness. Please get back to me when you have a chance, maybe we can find time to go out another night. My mom has recently gotten sick, leaving me alone in the house so we can be by ourselves this time!

GG's to shadethefuture that was some fun stuff man, thanks for helping me learn Eileen by playing me for so long. I learned some cool stuff watching you kick my ass lol, ida liked to have saved some of them replays so I could see wtf was going on hahah but I didn't want to risk you leaving the games thinking I was done. But then again ida ended up saving almost every one of them /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif Always got the exhibition matches and Tricky's vids to study though. Thanks again man.

gg the one set we had. We should play again sometime and i'll try not to 'play angry'. I do that too much and take the fun out of the game for myself. Anyone here got tips on how to enjoy the game wins AND LOSSES. Seriously the losses get me down. And if ya stomp me, or hit the same move on my bouncing corpse 5 times after the match, i just get annoyed and wanna do the same to you til the point i have to turn it off. No fun. I'm looking to get past this and think i'd be stronger if i could remove this baggage from my game.

 

ggs to punishing soul, kingofcarnage (if ur lag is as bad as u say it is you need to get different internet, the game is so much funner without lag, and i rarely have any vs you), ggs to tfam (ur lau seems a lot stronger than ur brad to me, or maybe i was just having a bad day when i played it-beastly throw game with ur lau), ggs to rare entity, carlito something (akira user), ok, that's all i can think of. It's been fun getting back to vf5 and slowly getting better again. Seriously, i've ranked up half a bar towards reaching 10th dan, and haven't hit my max dmg combo 2 times in a row to save my life. lol. Nice to see the competition picking back up on xbl too.

Fantastic Akira; you kicked my ass lol, you had a long winning streak going...sure, I got to win a few games here and there but you just loved to juggle me out of the ring...Your throw timing is so unpredictable, I think I just managed to throw escape twice only the entire time....Good Stuff!!
