Good Games Thread

I love the GG thread (Yosuke or no Yosuke). It's a great way to see who's active and really likes to play. Often I read it and think, "I need to get in some games with that person. Seems like it would be fun."

 

^^ I agree with that 100%. I have been out of the loop for a while and now I can jump back in here and see who to look for. Makes me feel like I know them a little better and overall adds to my enjoyment of the game. I also liek to hear what people think of others gameplay. If you're someone like that AddyPaddysumthinsumthin(Senor-2P)guy I like to see that in these threads as well.

 

Yup, I'm in agreement with Black_Ant and Plague. Plus, it's always nice to see your name in shout outs right? A little harmless flattery is never a bad thing. Speaking of which:

ggs to tsua and his jacky. Excellent jacky. I felt like i learned more about jacky in our set than i have the entire time i've played vs him. You and vanilla tears are the only decent jacky i've played sets vs and he always leaves after a few (lag). Very good game. Jacky's pokes drive me crazy. Ggs. Glad to add u to my friends list.

GG's to King Park 360 - Nice Kage you have there and your juggle ofn the TFT is Funny as shit. Keepig in mind with a better connect that TFT work on me lol! Practice you Defense a little more and you be on the right path.

It was cool to finally get to play you. I took more rounds than i thought i would, altho very few matches. Maybe its just b/c Linzuhoun said something about it, but i felt like you were helping me with my game as much as beating me up. Seemed like you'd do one pretty simple tactic till i got the hang of it and reacted accordingly, then mix it up and show me something else till i figured it out and then flip back and forth.
Also, after i certain point i started working on throw escapes and appreciate you continuing to go for throws on all the gauranteed moves even if i was avoiding them. It was great practice for me.
Look forward to playing more with you.

In regards to my mixups, I was just getting lucky. I would just take a guess at what you were gonna do and in some rounds I guessed right everytime and it lead to big damage.
I wasn't in your head or anything, lol, I'm not that good. Maybe one day (lmao)
Lau is strong though, it shocks me everytime I play with him and I discover some new strength to exploit.

ggs to social ruin. Man sometimes the matches were so one sided...in your favor ofcourse lol. Thanks for the shoutout though. Definitely had some ggs! I still feel soooo rusty! I keep repeating the same old bad habits GRRR!

 

GG's T-Fam, good stuff as always bro. Yea man sometimes all 3 rounds went to you only taking a little over 10 seconds each lol, i'm like shit man wtf is going on here hahah. You kept nailing me with that jumping eye poke thing even when I would try to expect it /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif and you got that side kick when i'm getting up on lock man, I kept trying to reverse it but would always get hit and it made me stagger every time wich has to mean i'm still crouched when it connected then lead to some ill combos for ya. Speaking of staggers your real good at shaking out of them man.

Your mix ups was still on point against me bro /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif but I do have a habit of evading or attempting ETEG almost after one of my attacks are blocked and you seemed to catch on to that nailing me with that mega roundhouse (that takes off a grip of life especially on CH) or a half circle move, if I stand there blocking I get thrown and if I duck you mid attack me lol. Good stuff though bro, looking foward to more matches with ya and meeting up with you and the Miami crew one of these days in the near future.

Haha, nah man, that's what the GG's thread is for, saying all of the stuff you didn't get to say on XBL.
Here's something that might help you out: Lau's "eye poke" as you call it /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif is MDK (mid double kick) class. That's why you couldn't reverse it.
About the side kick, I learned from playing people like Ladon and Dre that if you time an attack just right, all the opponent can do is block, they can't even sidestep it /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif

On that note, GG's to Dre, you really had my number with your Lion. Even when I could edge out a win you would just come back even stronger and whoop my ass /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

ggs to SDS overfiend1. try to use more moves so that you can make opponents guess harder what you do. also, you played very well, but change your moves in eash situation. for example, you always evade when you get hit the opponent "PK". you know you have disadvantage, but try to guard sometimes. like I said, you need to change what you do in each disadvantage situation.

also, try not to evade when you are against the wall( especially at the corner). that was too ovbious for me to guess which way you wanted to evade /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif

 

ggs to rare entity, we seem to always have good games and be evenly matched. In the sense that we stomp each other. Its funny how when we win, we win big. Like the fight where i utterly dominated u round 1 for excellent, then u excellented me round 2. On the whole tho, we usually seem to have good games and are evenly matched enough for us both to make adjustments and mixups. Fun stuff

ggs to brisal. Man u were stomping last night. U won 11 or 12 to 2. I didn't get 1 till after an 8 game win streak. I like that u were forcing me to make really cut and dry mid vs throw decisions. After about 7 fights i even started getting an occasional escape in. Ur were throwing in escapes it seemed after evevery garuanteed block--even tho u only escaped the throws i accidentally did, lol. Any suggestions is welcomed. I felt a little less predictable. Giant throw to ring out is sucks when i'm winning...was winning the round. Excellent mix ups. I already pm'ed it, but oki g.lariet and low throw was nice.

I was just desparately trying to keep up with your leifei dance and have my old guy react accordingly /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif It was good to hear that it was helpful for you to brush up on your skills.
