Wasted Wish - You're giving yourself too little credit man! Your Lei Fei definitely gave me a hard time, all I could do was 6PK or throw and had to stay on my toes at all time, or else my life would disappear.

Rare Entity - They were all very close matches that definitely kept me on my toes, and I enjoy seeing your El Blaze in action. I was eating those throws like mad too. You've definitely stepped up your game from the last time we played.

ggs to misty tee. Nice sarah. Playing u is excellent practice for me as i generally suck vs sarah. Ur oki game was very good. Thanks for the tips too. I'm still confused at how u know which side will be the backside when a rising opponent stands up, but i'll mess with it in dojo. If anyone else has an easy way to tell this please chime in. Good games. PS. Anyone here who has room on their friends list please holla and i'll add u tomorrow. I need to play more good competition, i'm lost in a sea of mediocre opponents.

Side note. I just want to point out something that has been bothering me a little. Why is it that most of the people that I play from VFDC low jab so damn much? I know how to deal with 2p, that's not the problem. It’s the whole idea behind why it's being used. I think the reason why most vfdc'ers are having a hard time getting better is because they lack defense. Seriously I will attack and advance at them with consistent +frames and instead of just defending and figuring out a solution all I see is SS or 2p as a defense. Really people try to think beyond this already. Offence is not always the best defense. If you keep seeing a yellow flash every few hits then it's time to stop attacking and THINK!!!!! Yes I know it's hard to stop in the heat of it all. We ALL get caught up sometimes, but really you got to know when to just stop. I will do the same string to people 10 times in one match in hopes that they will catch on, so when I try to mix it up on the 11th try. I still see 2p at the same damn place. Come on now. If you attack make sure that there is a reason behind it. Don’t do it mindlessly. This has gotten so bad now that I find my brain shutting off and just going on auto pilot. I don't even care if I win or lose. It’s not fun. VF is fun for the consistent mind games. But if there isn't one being played then what's the point? Step up your game people!

 

They won't listen mista tee, I can 336p+k> pk> 3346p most of them all day without them noticing that they can defend.

 

1.2p is a fetal position most revert too.
2.Online lag sucks, so expect people to consistently attack in -.
3.Not many feel comfortable doing edteg.
4.Ewok's songs are good to dance to naked.
5.Not everyone has a sabaki that works in - .
6.This will NEVER be vf4evo/ft in comparison.
7.Yu Suzuki exited the stage.
8.When you add after market bolt-ons to a vf you get vf5.
9.There should be a bonus stage where you spank tsukimaru's ass.
10.What do you expect with no tutorial?????

It could be your choice of moves in Flamingo dont give the oportunity to evade, or because of lag they cant evade. Then too, the online lag doesnt give the opportunity to properly interrupt your move sets. But I keep saying that there is a serious deficiency in defensive tactics when people play on line.
I dodge as many moves as I can and break throws, the only situation where it seems I might abare is when im hit with a low kick, most low kicks that youre hit with leave the attacker at slight disadvantage so its not abare. But the prevaling thought on-line is to keep attacking so that your inputs beat out the defending players inputs. This works fine in lag, but what about off-line play? I learned years ago, Vf4 days that you can loose half to 3/4 of your bar for throwing 1 low punch.

I hope you didn't take offense to me saying your Vanessa wasn't fun to play against, and hope my explanation of why was adequat. Its all about learning, growing, and evolving as a player, appreciate the opportunity to do that against you.

Epic sub vs scrub matches. lol, i can honestly say i learned alot during those, i need to learn the rest of her moves, instead i was working on figuring out how to land the half dozen moves i do know. lets do it again real soon.

 

I know, it was the saddest thing ever. I was so lonely, unappreciated, and depressed.

remember how good things used to be, how we used to grind for hours. remember when you almost killed yourself trying to ramp and posted the vid on your internet account under cozby commits suicide. GGs the other day and this morning to Cozby. Your Lei was definitely brutal this morning. Good Shit! As for the "incomprehensive nonsense" I absolutely take that as a compliment! My goal is to be as unreadable as possible through Shun's bizarre slipperiness. I still feel he can be played in a way that doesn't exactly follow the VF5 game engine.

I've admitted in the past that my defense is not top notch, but I try to make up for it with strange Shun offense.

I've had some pretty cool sessions in Players, when I wasn't getting my head handed to me.

Ash: Would've had the mask on had I known you were going to join the session. I was having fun for the most part. Lack of good fundemental defense barring Aoi reversals, I was relying on heavy offense. I'm probably the only Wolf who uses /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif as often as I do.

WSTSD obi 1: I guess I should be glad you haven't gotten tired of me. Half the fun is finding a way to adapt to your opponent.

TrueWiseMan: I've been on the receiving end of plenty of Jeffery's more damaging combos, but that's the first time I've been hit like that. Scary -_-'

I'm just grateful there are still good players out there. Most of the time it's like a wasteland. That being said, my defense is sorely lacking right now -_-
