GGs to seven5, worstplayer, gentleman thief, and whoever else. as stated in the bad games thread, sorry couldn't play worth a shit. i was tapped out. all tapped out. i'm gonna try and get remotivated this weekend but who freakin knows.

I couldn't agree more with everything you said. Shun vs. Lei does bring out the strange in VF. Which is why I too love our matches. Your Lei is so creative, and the reason I particularly like it is I get the feeling, while of course you want to win, you're not afraid to try unorthodox things.

If there's one thing I try to do with Shun, it's make people say exactly what you mentioned above, "I can't believe that shit happened." Believe me, even though I sometimes expect it, I still feel the same way sometimes, which is why I like Shun so much.

By the way, what move is bokutai? I think I might know, because there are a couple situations we get in where I just feel that the mule kick is the right choice.

One thing I know for sure is that you alone have given me a greater chance against other Leis by showing me all that he can do.

Man you know that whole mindgame about which attack to go for the second the round starts? Yeah I don't like playing that game with Brad no more.

I have a few tricks w/ Brad but seriously, I'm still a beginner w/ him), TheNameless(Your Aoi is very good), Social Ruin(I thought you played Lei?), and Blahzie(I always like playing against you! I learned some Brad stuff!), Rare Entity, and I forget who else.

Ugh man playing w/ multiple characters really screws you up lol. I suck w/ Jacky now. =(

 

ggs to zeextremekid, solid akira. Nice movement, it was getting frustrating and every so often i had to slowdown back up and remind myself to be patient.
ggs to redsonrising. Ur the first to play my goh--thus the first to pwn my goh, i know he's nothing yet, but i figured it's time i start looking at a sub. Ur pai vs my lei was an interesting experience. I felt overwhelmed, but was winning. It was a disorientating matchup.
Tsua did i play u with someone other than lei, or just play u really scrubby with lei? I don't remember using my goh against u. I do seem to remember playing u, but i thought it was a couple close lei vs jacky. Anyhow, yeah i main lei, and i'm getting better all the time. I'm waiting to bust on up to the master level with him but...there are never any players on nowadays so between that and matches dropping i've been sitting @ 9th dan forever. Oh well. It will happen sooner or later.
If anyone wants games this weekend against a solid player, hit me up. social ruin. I have a weekend free and plan to throw down on vf5.

You have a great Lei Fei, and I can hardly find any faults with your gameplay. I kept falling for your low P into P counter hit like an idiot sometimes, and those sweeps and counters kept me from evading your attacks sometimes. Good mixup game with the stances, and combos. I was seriously afraid to rush you sometimes. GGs man.

my best experience was 1 years e some month ago in virtua fighter 5 where i have met an opponent really, really, really,really more strong that i had never see, he was japanese and with Pai and Akira he seemed invincible(worse of dural in hardest level), i won only the first round, after he has not let me breathe, i have learnt from that match until the level can be unchanted the characters, similiar to monsters to how used that 2 characters.... however i have never met him more...

 

Has anyone played a newcomer Mexican Akira player? His name was something like IS_??? Sorry can't remember and am not at home now. Anyway GGs to him. But also frustrating games since he backs up CONSTANTLY!

Is it just me or do Mexican players have a great knowledge of their character's moves but without traditional playstyle? I don't mean to generalize but the two Mexican Pai players are the same way.

Anyway this Akira guy was shockingly good at doing only a few moves with HUGE success. And the rest of the time he was just backing away waiting to do his seemingly guaranteed canned combos. Luckily I was able to drink a lot.

I don't want this post to sound like it should be in the Bad Games Thread - I don't mean it to be. Rather I would definitely like to play this guy again.

 

Bokutai is his Evo stance where he slaps the ground for a second. It's nutty useful if you can buffer it well. I was surprised today when I was playing MrExpertOptiUK when it tucked under Shun's TEN /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, which is mid!

 

Lol, that's one of my favorite parts of the game, getting the first hit, lol. I love that and when fights get close to the edge of the ring and fighters start duking it out to ring each other out /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif So much fun.

Really good ggs, Faded. I remember back when you used to put up a lot of vids and I would watch them trying to see some Brad action. I see you have Goh in your avatar and last night you played me with El Blaze with some really good setups for Rocket Discharge options. Great El Blaze, I'd like to play him and more of your characters again soon.

 

Hey Jess, could you be talking about iS Serged12. He's laggy, repetitive and has no defence, but somehow he's one of the Best Mexican players Ive ever played. Hes' got a real good and hard to stop "flow chart" . If he gets you with that catch throw make sure you dodge to his back side after /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif and do a /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif throw break. Yep that's him, iS Serged12. You hit the nail on the head. It's just bizarre to me to be so good at one aspect but not at others. His flow chart is a good one.

GG to Cosby and Mr Expert OptiUK but for the most part I didn't do very well because I am playing my Vanessa in ranking matches now. You might see my pai in player matches once in a while but for the most part all my ranking matches will be with vanessa so I can get better with her.
