Denkai. Goddamn you've been playing VF for too long man. It always interesting to play someone who is playing smart. Alot of the things I was doing I did out of nervousness and then I'd turn and say what the hell did I do/not do this or that lol ah well what can you do. I hope one day I'll be as good as you. Settrip: Another good Akira. I just have so much trouble with that elbow/evade/throw(into massive combo) style of yours.

Shaka Zulu 1: I never run into any Brad players. You're all about pressure and seem to through defense out the window. If you would throw in some defense, you would be alot better. Good games though.

Gentlemanthief: I had the pleasure of getting my Vanessa beaten by your Goh. You move with him so much and are very offensive. I had trouble anticipating anything. Very effective and different from the other Gohs I've played.

Sorry I was scrubby tonight. I haven't been playing in a long time and just got a 48 Live trial I'm using this weekend. I be back for real until the end of the month. Then I'll need to get some training from you guys.

ggs to Formalist and your aoi. You threw me for a loop at first when did those ground throws and you were using a different direction aside from the normal /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif direction. You were expecting to many free reversals as well with your auto reverse stance as well and I as getting my throws off if I was expecting it towards the end. I learned to trust in my OS /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif so much more knowing your aoi was always expecting my mids. I will have make use of the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif more often to take advantage of those that can reverse and anticipate attacks easily. I don't know if he expected the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif tackle after the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif combo but making use of her /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif after the combo really hit the spot as well.

I began using better setups with my Vanessa because of Aoi's defensive nature to keep myself from being reversed so much and it actually made me better as a result thanks for the matches dude.

 

GGs to Cozby(nasty Lei fei), Black Bauer(devastating Shun), and L33T VF Skillz(despite what you said about my play style I still enjoyed playing you), and Blahzie(you're Brad owns my Brad lol). Damn it's hard to find any players these days.

EDIT: Also ggs to Corey Fearless and Jaaaam. Man Corey, you're jacky is super hyper! Great stuff and it was fun.

I'll probably play so others but right now: Thanks 'Familia for the session. I was happy to get some wins on you after the major ass-whuppin' you laid on me last time. My confidence in my VF abilities was pretty much shot but the only thing I was thinking about when I fought you was: Damn, should I get rid of the little flower ornament on Aoi's head or not. Figured I'd go back to the old look I was sporting for her and yes, trying to give mad props to someone with a Hori stick SUCKS!!

DivineSpirite - Your Akira was frustrating the hell out of me. Thanks for the advice.

QueenOfCarnage2 - as usual I learned something new from your Vanessa. That kick stun combo from OS was brutal.

rskip - I'm surprised your ratio is so low. Your Sarah's not bad.

Carlito Pablitz - When you're in your groove, your Akira is fierce. You just need to be able to switch it up on the fly.

Kruza - I'm always up for Aoi mirror matches. You showed me how some of the cancels are to predicatable and others are great.

FalkemUpper - You have some nice Pai combos, you just tend to stay in that same range and it gets predictable. Its great when you do connect though.

SingleFatalFlaw (only one match) - I just remember it being good and I didn't get to save it.

Also there is someone I played Saturday night and accidentally pounced after the match was over. I can't remember who it was against but... my apologies. It was kind of a whop-ass round so I can see how it might have looked assholeish for me to do that. My girlfriend's dog kept jumping on my controller so I'm always busy shoeing him away. It's funny, he actually gets jealous of my controller. =)

Sadly, my VF abilities have taken a hit since the last time we fought. I can't even buffer in moves that I thought I had down on the stick already.
I don't know if fighting me or many others took away some of your confidence but I have one person to blame for my current VF slump: Ladon.
We played last week, during the middle of the week, before the weekend. Before that last gettogether I was finally catching up to him, learning more and more frames, Brad's frames, Pai's frames. I was finally able to give him a really good run for his money... until the last time we fought again *sigh* He figured me out again.
I'm trying to not have a set style, I'll switch it up like, for example, if you start getting reversal-happy and doing too much YingYang, I throw more or I do lows, stuff like that... but even when I switched it up on him, he was always a step ahead of me.
I would try to be random but he knew what I was going to do, I felt boxed in.
He's a frame and yomi based fighter, so once he figures you out, it's pretty much over.
GGs but now I've gotta go back to the drawing board, just when I was starting to get into my own online groove, feeling comfy on the stick and giving good players better fights, BOOM, I get knocked back down a notch and my VF confidence gets kicked in the nuts.
Oh well, time to step right and step up or step left and step down!
