GGs Tsua, damn, you either a)stepped up your game a lot or b)really wanted to prove that you ain't all DMP+K. I kept expecting DMP+K so much that after a while I started doing it myself, trying to get you to throw it out more, lol.
I already knew you had skills but you went above and beyond tonight, great stuff, you got me good /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbs_up.gif

 

Gotta give out my props:

hitmandu91: Yes, THAT guy...the one who spends most of the match from the edge of the damn screen. That's all he did at the start in Ranked, whooped me pretty good too before I found out how suspect his close-range game was. The ONLY reason he's NOT going to the BG's is because his close range game got better as he fought me...and he didn't drop on me when I finally picked him apart; he kept coming back for more. I got the impression he actually enjoyed fighting me despite the occasional reversals.

Black LAC-KEY: Did stuff to me I wished I could do with Vanessa, while I was getting beat like a cheap drum I was wondering why in the HELL I had to chase you down half of the time just to receive an ass-whuppin' I could see if you had no close range tactics to speak of but damn, you were destroying me. I only got maybe 20% of my reversals in at BEST -_- Keep in mind I had JUST gotten through dealing with frickin' hitmandu91.

That being said, I got a LOT of work on Aoi ahead of me. I should be grateful there are still quality opponents in VF5.

kingofcarnage. um I didn't understand your comment you sent me. I don't believe in holding back with vanessa. I know I have some bad habits with here but I also have some good ones. I try to play her like acebreaker. pressure to the wall then kill.

rare Entity. um gg. but there is one thing I hate. it's not you it's El blaze. Could someone please tell me how the fuck to punish that stupid cross body or SW. when you wiff it I still can't hit you??!!! WTF. that's just stupid. GG's to sega for that.

Punishing soul. GG it was fun using my akira tonight. haven't used him in a little over 4 months. playing you was helping me remember. you had some good come backs.

Ms fontaine.... WHY WHY WHY!! why can't I just finish you off?!! I get so close then.... NO! DENIED!! lol good stuff I will get you one day.

 

GGs to my main squeeze Dango. Lol why were we acting so dumb? To further my postulation that Shun is broke, after his p+k k p+k+g, if he attempts his catch throw he magically becomes standing if he's hit. BROKEN! It was funny when I actually landed that catch throw but it was an odd position next to the wall so I ended up in an unfavorable position. Your Sarah is leet but I expect no less. You kept abusing me with some attacks cuz you knew I kept doing fuzzy>throw at every opportunity. I can't myself to attempt to throw w/ Shun for some reason. LOL @ you spamming p's, 4k's from flamingo, running knees, and of all things, forward dash. There was this point in our set where the camera completely broke. I dont know what happened, but for 10 seconds the camera was alot lower than it was supposed to be.

GGs to Kingofcarnage my eyes have opened a bit more from our matches. Keep up that crouchdash buffering stuff. You are the first person to escape Lei's 4 throw. Thats supposed to be the "weak throw that no one inputs an escape for" kinda like Sarah's 1 throw (which is funny because in VF 4 it was his strongest throw aside from the juggles from the 3 throw).

Ggs to Mista Tee. Play Vanessa more man, there's such a lack of Vanessa players.

I can't believe I did the Heruru dance almost 6x in a row. That one is extremely hard for me.

a little to much with the reversals (I was scoring /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/ /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif like hotcakes ) but with that said there were times where you were hella effective with them /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

There are even more situations than that that just don't quite make sense. Did you know that Shun can be thrown out of his forward roll from handstand? The only way I know is because the computer does it. I've never actually seen it done by a human. I've even been thrown out of it when it looks like I'm lying down, but it's just frames before.

Another one I just thought of is Shun's mule kick. It can still cause the flop animation even if a character is slightly in the air - not if the opponent is hopping but rather doing a move that puts you slightly off the ground. I suppose the game considers that if any body part is still touching the ground it causes the flop animation.

Let's see, what else? How about Shun's lying down KPKK... if he's not quite facing the right way it will warp him as much as 180 degrees to ensure the hit. This was actually adjusted from VF4 since it never used to do that.

I know there are more but I can't think of any at the moment.

As for the camera screw up you mentioned Cozby, have you or anyone else ever noticed after Sarah's fallen angel throw (/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif) the camera slightly zooms in and out? There is another throw that causes this also but I can't remember whose. It almost makes me dizzy if I really look at it.

You had me trippin last night, cause you were doing Vanssa's Sabaki elbow in two's last knight. I dont low punch!? And if you were trying to stop her combo starter low kick, I was well aware. I dont waste mooves. So when you doubled up on her Sabaki I was confused and said you were flailing. Just swinging away. Now on the other hand I understand your Sarah. I hope I didnt offend you in any way, I love playing you... its a challenge.

 

Haha, I think it was mine and his games that caused that... I was playing him for a while too, he kept using different characters but he was just mostly doing 2p, p, 2p random shit like that. So we was both just doing it on each other for quite a few games then he comes in with his Vane doing these two sabakis in a row. They where pretty fun games /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

FUCK! AdamYuki... nah - AdamYOMI!!! I got totally mindfucked tonight. I swear to god when I play you I can't even think straight, I keep telling myself "Don't do that cuz he'll fuck you up for it," then I'll do something else and > MINDFUCK! I kept screwing up combos (Rod called me out for freezing alot) and I thank god you weren't catching me with threat stance p 6p+g. Im surprised that I stood up to your close range standing game as well as I did when I wasn't having a lei-fei seizure. That shit was like Kimbo vs. Clay Aiken. I had to keep dancing like a fairy around you, hoping youd get pissed off and I'd catch you with some magical shizz. Even when I finally think I'm gonna win, You'd click your heels three times and rotate your eyes in that back of your head and say, "...MINDFUCK!". Then all of a sudden im eating delayed attacks and throws n shit and I can't even build myself up to do anything about it. I was taking so many of those knees from crouching. If I take a MC knee, Chris Tucker might as well pop up from the bottom of the screen and say "DAAMN YOU GOT - FUCKED - UP!" MK style. I got lucky a few times holding on to that lil shred of rank I had left, but I knew I wasn't gonna hold out too long. Ask my brother. I've never cursed and screamed and laughed so hard when playing VF online. When you caught me with 2k+g wall hit > Chokeslam hit-throw, I jumped so quick out of my seat that I accidentally stomped the shit out of my helpless cat.

Overall: Playing the coolest mo-fo known to man + tons of back and forth 5 rounder action = good learning experience /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Adam for president!

Good games to everyone I've played, except the random No bar guy who stole my master rank because I couldn't move. I don't really care, anyway.

Kingo, your Aoi surprises me. When you came into the room, I expected another random Aoi who didn't know how to play. Boy, did you surprise me AND streak on me. You're the one to make me realize that I don't want to main Aoi anymore, because she's so annoying! I never realized how much you have to be on your toes to fight Aoi. GGs sir, keep it up.

Cosby, that was some crazy weird stuff going on the other night. I had no idea what was going on, and to be honest, Shun is my worst match up, but it was a learning experience. One day my Sarah will be able to go up against your Lei.

Thanks for putting up with my scrubby Sarah everyone. I'm still workin' on it, but she will be my main in the future. Akira's so borrrrring.
