Oh no that's not why I did it. the more I used elbow the more you started to jab or duck if I tried to throw you afterwards. so I did elbow twice to sabaki you p and hit you mid. now i've taken away the quickest options you have to stop me from doing slower stronger moves if i chose to do them. It's meant to be a brain fuck But I did forget that you know vanessa so I was thinking play basic no set ups. I am sure you are aware of how many people don't know vanessa. so set ups are a hard thing to do with her unless they know. sorry about that.

from what i see from playing adam, he has strong basics. if you dance around and play from the gut, then he'll beat you by frames. - try to slow your game down abit and look at his options when he gets advantage. sometimes he'll play santaku (force crouch - low throw opt), sometimes he'll backdash /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif because of the evasive proporties. -- i think he uses jeffry's tools very well by raw proporties, i had to look up afew things after i got beaten myself

plus, he has some pretty good flow charts, watch out!

GGs to Cosby last night, very good pressure and tactics. I have to admit though, you were playing a bit strange to me sometimes. But I how I wasn't annoying you or anything.

GGs to SoulKatana, great Kage... Much better than mine (sure showed me too). Those Akira matches didn't seem legit though, since I dunno if you just wanted me to throw escape every 10 secs or you were just trying to do anything to win.

 

What surprises me is the situations with Vanessa, its like no one knows her + or - advantage. Ive figured some nice stuff with her but getting it to work on-line is another thing. It was GG's the other night with you Mista T as usual, I forgot to mention that Also...
Joho and Punishing Soul.. you guys were joining me back to back last night and it was drivin me crazy. 'not in a bad way'. I mean both you guys are real good and it was so hectic to get the win.

Brisal - It was my first time playing you and now I want more. Your Wolf was tough. I kept watching the replays of you beating me so I can learn a little.

Clock and Key - A very good Aoi. He kept launching me at the perfect time when I attacked. I was surprised at how quick he interrupted me and I main Aoi as well.

MrExpert optiUK - I finally had the chance to play you and was not dissapointed.

KingofCarnageVF - Thanks for the pointers. It made all the difference in the world. I learn more from you than anyone else. I don't know if you can tell, but my game has evolved a lot from playing you.

Seven5suited- Those weren't bad matches at all, and you started catching on to how much I was ducking. Everytime you slammed me I just had to shake my head like, man I'm ducking way too much. So are you still learning Lion too, or did you just make the switch to Jeff?

Tonyfamilia- Those were some crazy matches, and I can't TE really either, so we're in the same boat. That one match where I did an elbow on wake up 3 in a row you called my bluff. I figured after the 3rd you'd block, so I went for the throw, but OH NO! PPPK out the ring. Hillarious! Good games and some good laughs out of them too.

DeexThaxGee- You've got a good flow chart that always throws me off. It's not until like the 5th match that I actually start catching on, but you still manage to get me. I really need to learn how to struggle a lot more, cuz those combos from struggle were just eating me up.

Shaka Zulu- You know you always get a good games from me. I hadn't played you in a little bit, so I joined up and they were some well played matches.

DaBadSeed- You's a bad man son. J/k. Wow, some of the times I really just wanted to put the controller down. The spacing you had on wake ups were just ridiculous. Was it gonna be a low sweep, a roundhouse, nope a throw. I always felt like I couldn't get close enough to hit you, but you had me playing with all I had. Found some things out about Kage while I was playing you too, so thanks for that. And I'll get back to akira. I've actually started using him again after your match. Feel bad for neglecting the dude for this long. Thanks for the good games though

AssassinCP- I played you a couple days ago, but don't think I ever mentioned you on here. We had some pretty good games...sorry about all the trip throws. I was having a bad double palm night, so I just did trip throws to fulfill my double palm obligations to myself. Sorry though. Oh, and that gut crumple combo...gross..i ate that all night.

Templario IV- You a gg for effort. Nuff said...the random -_- messages aren't necessary though

Social Ruin: I know I wasn't givin you much room to breathe, but I wasn't trying to get hit with those lows, or give you a lot of chance to roll and mix me up with either those two kicks or a throw with your lei. I had fun with those matches though

Stompoutloud- Man, those matches were a blast! Back and forth...you were making me think a lot, but that's what was so fun about it. Always havin to mix it up, and just when I'm sure I won, you come all the way back and win it. Good stuff. We gotta play some more.

Man I played a lot of people tonight, so gg's everybody. Oh and beligerent I'm using the pad. I'm still trying with the joystick in dojo, but I just can't do it. My diagonals suck! It's so frustrating so yeah..no knee on the pad I guess....Although, Settrip can do it. I told me a strat, but I'm not really trying to rearrange my buttons, cuz I'm so use to the way they are now. Big ups to all you joystick users, I just don't see how you guys do it.

 

I don't know how I even DID any moves with a pad/analog before I switched to joystick. My diagonals execute for me a LOT better with the 'stick than with analog/pad.

 

Akira can be played on pad. Knee, double palms and all.

Air Jacky, what happened bro? I guess you read about my lack of skills dealing with DMP+K and decided that you were just going to run it, huh? I gotta be honest, it was disappointing, that's why I jumped out of the ring but I didn't want to leave you thinking that I just can't deal with that style, specially when I'm playing with LAU! AAAAYEAAAAAAHH! Lol, that's why I joined your session again. Maybe that's why you were hesitant to accept bc I had jumped out earlier but I just wanted to show you that I know I have tools to deal with DMP+K and I know when to use them but honestly, that style makes me not want to play anymore. It doesn't even feel like VF when I have to deal with DMP+K spam.
The wost thing about that style it's when it comes from a player that you have played before and you know he's got more skills than to rely on that.
It almost feels like the player with skills that spams DMP+K isn't really trying. It's like they're on the phone or something and can't be bothered to think and out-yomi you based on what you've been doing so far.
It's not even that hard to figure me out, my style is pretty basic. Oh well, didn't want to put you in Bad Games thread though bc the next match we had I was able to get you to stop DMP+K'ing. AAAAAAYEEEEEAAAAAAAH! Lol, I love Lau <3 I lost that match but I actually had fun bc you stopped doing it in the 5th round. Win or lose, I just can't have fun waiting for that same move over and over so I can punish it... but I'm working on having fun regardless of what my opponent is doing.
Thanks for putting in more effort in that 5th round.
