Sorry 'Familia, Cadorna; I was working on Akira and was starting to get some of the buffering and 1-frame knee down pat and I wasn't paying attention to my messages.

ggs to UKdiddy. Man u beat me like a drum. My goh, yeah, ok, losing to anyone above average with him is understandable. But then my lei fei. LOl. last time i played u with my lei fei u won slightly more than half of them, but i was toying with u. I thought i was the better player, and this time i'm trying and u destroy me. lol. so goes vf5.

ggs Pleportormee-- or whatever ur name was. I know u didn't play good, but just want to say i look forward to having another strong opponent on my friends list if u really get back to playing. Transitioning to a stick is weird. Even when ur 'comfortable' with it, it suddenly becomes an anchor in rd 5 with game on the line. hang in there

ggs Panther neogeo. lol. Some of the games were hideously ugly. I think it's funny that u noticed too. how could u not tho. Any halfway decent player would have seen those matches for exactly what they were...battle of the new subs. hehe. Seriously. My goh maybe has 6 hours on him-hell i can't even do all his combos, and i'm guessing ur wolf doesn't double that--as far as serious practice anyhow. Haha. We played for almost 2 hours with that scrubby matchup too. It's really funny if u take into acct how much less skilled it would be than our lei vs aoi matchup. I'm disappointed to say u got the upper hand on my goh. But that is exactly what i need. To play against a good opponent, using someone they are a bit foggy with. lots of fun, if not great games. I will be having nightmares about ur jumping kicks. I wanted to get some revenge with lei, but u were right, it was bed time.

Alemone- I've never heard of this guy, but damn did he put the beating on me with Sarah. And I just couldn't figure him out. Usually people have some kind of flow they stick to and then you break it down and start picking it apart, but this guy...no just pure beatdown. I didn't stand a chance and I was trying hard. Good stuff man.

Oyarikamiari- I can not spell your name, and I'm sorry, but your Sarah improved a lot. You were also puttin the beatdown on me. I didn't think Sarah gave me that much trouble, but you were beatin me all over the ring with that female captain america lookin outfit. Haha, good games man.

And DaBadSeed, it's kinda weird. If I'm playing someone with 1 or 2 bars, the games usually run smooth. It's the 0 or 3 bars that actually worry me. A lot of times when I play someone with 3 bars, there's stutters and I don't know why. I'm not running anything on my computer either, so I don't know what the deal is, but yeah...i could feel the weight if that's what you mean. Still I had alot of fun in those matches.

 

GGs to Mista T last night....my forearms are sore cause I played to much yesterday. But Im sure it seemed kind of weird playin my Wolf with your Sarah. My attack patterns were weird cause I was figuring out how to properly attack her. I concentrated on dodging only to her back side, thats why towards the end my evades were succesfull. And damn man, that ho constantly switches her backside. Your Shun seems equally powerfull also. Your'e damn good at evading and Throw escapes too, just a really good all around player. Remember tho, dont let your opponent get under your skin and cause you to abare, stay disciplined.

Wolf was my second in command for quite some time. I'm not a convential Wolf ALTHOUGH I try to get my grab quota in like most. A lot of Wolf(s) online don't use the two kicks like I do which is something I'm happy to put on my mantle...one of those kicks being great for when someone's on their heels. I still don't understand Goh's throw enough to even try escaping them half the time I do need a break from the Aoi every once so often though which was why I threw myself in there with you. It was fun though. It's hard but I try to be "unique" with my characters, I hate to think I'm "cookie-cutter" although a lot of times I tend to end up on auto-pilot.

You were right about the mic, it's better to play and talk, makes it so much more friendly, and I got to practice evading a little!

Seidon we have to play lots of Jacky matches cause He's my nemesis!

 

It's way easier to learn new things when you play with a headset. Look at how often our matches have ended up as training sessions recently.

 

GG KOC. yeah it was a little odd. but I took it as a chance to test some things out.(from that testing I think I stumbled across a new stronger style for my sarah. Into the lab to work on it) yeah you really have to be careful with your evade vs FL. I have so many option to punish you for guessing wrong. And I did them catch throw, full circle sweep~Fl, roundhouse~Fl, 3p... the list goes on and on. Try to react to the move instead of anticipating it. I am sure you realized that I adjusted to your ss and just did anti ss moves. make your ss count. Oh and I happen to like her backside.. bad joke.
your right that i was play abare. from playing masa, Jhow and noneother I see no reason not to.

 

GGs to everyone I played under Alemone, my bro's account. It was the first time I had played in months so I had a lot of fun.

UKDiddy - I had a lot of fun playing your Kage. You were adapting to my play styles like a rabid dog, and it forced me to really think about my mix-ups and attack strats. Those matches definitely expanded my game, so thanks, ggs, and hope I play you again sometime!

KaminariOyaji - As always, you pushed me to my very limit and still chopped me down, lol. Excellent mix-up game, and I always learn something new with Sarah when I play you. Great games...

yea, it definitely made me wanna play VF a lot more often, so I hope I play again soon.

Ggs to my man Shun Is Drunk LOL @ you pai bokutai raping me. I did NOT see that shizz coming. I know Lei's moves that generally beat her bokutai but I wasn't trying to risk anything. Your Shun gets too drunk too fast. Only later did I start fuzzying to avoid the throw and TE'ing.

Johoseph, you can come to my hood and hang w/ the homies. Goh is tough to use and has limited commands. He forces me to rely on systematic VF play. I love his kicks, the crouch staggers and the hit throws. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif I can't wait till I can step up the 270 mug as well as you do.

Those yellow flashes mean you're attacking when you shouldn't! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif 6k executes in 15 frames and on CH a koko k is guaranteed afterwards = big damage you didn't have to take! ooh and 43p+k is definitely throw punishable on guard but i couldn't get ya.

 

Mista tee. it was fun playing ya tonite. U weren't OM punishing my rising attacks at all tonite. U and Uk diddy are the best at that i've played (from my limited experience against you guys at least), and u didn't even try it once. I was glad, but still. Anyhow like i said, it was fun.
lol carolina panther, i originally mentioned something about how if u had use wolf, u obviously hadn't been playing him a lot recently, etc, etc, etc. But edited it out cause my post was too long already. So no hating on ur wolf. As far as goh's throw go and not being familiar with them, i do the same thing!!! "i have no idea what that throw is so how would i even try and break it?" Then later i get mad at myself for not just randomly puttin in 2-4 throw escapes every chance i get. Damn it's past time i made this part of my moves that are throw punishible, and made TE part of my muscle memory for evades too.

Kingofvf4- So I've read on here that you're pretty good and one of the best aoi's. When I saw your name pop up, I instantly pushed the A button without thinking " Hmm...am I mentally prepared for this? Should you really be playing this guy with Kage? Ah, it's just a game, couldn't be that bad, right?" WRONG!! F'in WRONG!! It really wouldn't have mattered who I picked, I got my ass WHOOPED! And viciously...Seriously, that was assault and I'm pressin charges..and the worst thing was when I tried to roll away from you just to get a second to breathe and then get a low throw. Ouch, I stood no chance. I couldn't even think of a game plan and the few times I was close, I knew you were just gonna shut me down the next match. Mad props to your skills, cuz that was some crazy shit!

Falkemupper- I would really like to say ggs, but I also wish you would stay for more than just one match.

Tonyfamillia- Your lau isn't boring man, don't sweat that. I would just watch out for canning that 2p killer after ppp since we've played each other several times and I know it's coming. Of course, you could make a nasty mixup out of that...and I have to admit..I have a NASTY habit of throwing out 3pp with Kage hoping you're gonna do a ppp string. I need to work on that. But you were killing me with those throws until I finally started to escape them, so good stuff.

Just wanted to come in and say GGs... the full list would probably be too long because I've basically played everyone... props to the usual suspects though, and a special shot out to TMGCyber7 (sp?) who always sticks in there and challenges, even when he doesn't win a lot. Hell yeah you were. I almost lost it. I was beyond frustrated when I we finished. Afterwards, my wife was like, "You weren't doing any of the stuff I usually see you do." I just needed to calm down and stick to my gameplan. I'll have my revenge.
