Great games last night Adam Yuki!! We haven't played I don't think since the online tourney about six months ago. I definitely did better back then than I did last night.

Congrats to Denkai on his Vanquisher promotion and for giving me my second demotion. I'm sure he was laughing it up like "yeah come on baby keep playing me all the way to Conqueror you scrub!" lmao no complaints the beating was fun and kind of gave me fuel to practice again. Who knows maybe I'll start signing on a lot more often... Maybe!

 

Hopefully you will play more often Konjou, my gameplay suffers tremendously because players like you arent on anymore. Im playing less and less nowadays because Ive been 'dumb'ed down by the competition. Its almost 8pm and I havent touched my 360. Anyway I need to hook up with you sometime soon Rodney.

 

Thats really not a nice thing to say about the quality of other players. I bet if you look hard you might find what your looking for??? Must we go back to the days of, "What is a competent player?" These so called lack of skill players still need comp in order to get to other levels. In fact, I bet there are a bunch of them out there right now reading this wondering who the fuck does this cat think he is??? If this is an atempt to get more comp then sorry for ruining the gimmick, but if it's a way to pick the big kids for a kickball game and leave the rest to suffer then that's not cool.

Nah King is right man, there is a lack of good competition on live at the moment especially in Ranked matches, there's only a handful ( maybe two hands... ) of good players I see on there reguraly.

Disagree. There are plenty of decent players in ranked matches. It goes without saying that beating someone once or twice is easy, so you should never gauge someone's skill on the 2 matches you had with them, or the one day you played against them.

Too much jaw-jackin, not enough playing.

 

Oops Konjou I forgot to say GGs to you too. Adam just told me something last night that I hadn't thought of in awhile. Remember in your write up about me months ago, one of the things you said is that I could be better at drink management.

I haven't put any conscious thought to getting better at it but I MUST have subconsciously. I know I have different patterns than I used to and many of them involve drinking at weird but usually safe times.

Anyway the main reason I just thought about this was because Adam's message to me after playing was "Your drink management is second to none!"

I thought, wow, I guess I have gotten better at that. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Thanks very much for the compliment Adam.

My new favorite drink scenario is while the opponent is lying on the ground I do /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif (Sou BT) for 2 drinks, then /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif for another drink which usually then draws a high rising kick from the opponent in which it goes over my drinking head, then from Sou I do /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, then rinse and repeat the entire scenario for more drinks and hits.

 

I couldn't agree more. I can't stand when I run into someone I haven't played before that beats me and then won't host or won't join again. I realize sometimes that someone else could have beaten me to them, but it happens way too often. I end up thinking in my head what the other person might be thinking - "HAHAHAHA I just beat you you stupid Enforcer," etc.

LOL I thought I was the only one who thought that...I'm the type of player who has to adjust to someone's play style so most of the time, I always lose the first match lol. Sucks especially when I encounter a promotion/demotion match! DOH!

Anyhow ggs to Ayufanboy(sorry for the demotion)and Shadowlord(Wow great Pai! Why isn't your rank higher?).

 

I hadn't played in a while but I had a good time regardless. I saw a few new people I here I hadn't seen before but I hope to see them again.

Tsua- Great matches as always especially the final one where I was down 0-2 and came back to win it with a perfect on the final match I think. I really had to train myself not to react to that rising knock back move you were hitting me with but I figured it out quickly enough.

MonkeyPunch- First time I recalled seeing you but I think I saw you before but I am not sure. You have a solid aoi, I hope to see you get better. I thought you were of a higher ranking. O thought I was one of the lowest ranking ranking person among all the people I played against I know is a member of VFDC.

RagenCajun- Good Jeffrey and the second match was classic and very close. I hope to see you again. I would want to see you more in more friendly matches. I have have family in the Cajun region as well (my dad's side of the family)

BlazingEmpire- Good El blaze I don't see very many good el blazes too often.

AyuFanboy- Good match against your lei fei, I don't see very many decent lei feis too often. You side stepped the move I would have killed you with in the 5th round to win it at the end GG.

Templario- For some reason I have a very hard time against you and fighting you forces me to react to quick punches and you have decent pai. You fight like an inexperienced subject in that all you do are quick strikes keep me from throwing you or doing alot of my favorite tactics. I will have to figure out how to beat you one day.

Special thanks to African Madman for throwing the match for me. It was the easiest ranking match I ever had in a while and I didn't have to fight you very much either. I am not that far from 6th dan now thanks for the extra rank.

No sadly i'm still quite a low rank, its taking me awhile to adjust to xbl and human competition but hopefully i'l climb some more ranks soon.

Yeah, you definitely deserve it over African Madman...he's jumped out on me several times. One time I beat him using only Jacky's foward + punch elbow and he actually sent me a message saying, "Are you serious?" LOL I replied, "That's what I was gonna ask you LOL!"

Yeah I also noticed that your drink management leveled. The second game we played I was WTF it's only round 2 and he has almost 20 drinks. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif unfortunately for me I didn't know how to take drinks away with Kage.

I wasn't promoted because I lost a few matches to RagenCajun. I would have ranked up if it weren't for that. You should never underestimate your foe regardless of their rank or how they played you before, you never know what might happen. I play my best against people that are members of VFDC as well, with all the close matches I had against you before, it wasn't much of a shock to me that I won but I didn't expect to win by a perfect though.

 

This happens to me almost every time I sign on. I get beat by a random decent player and afterwards they just hide. They won't host or join. The stupid thing is it's obvious they are being wussies because if I host I know they are viewing the menu so they will see me hosting, then they think ok he is not looking for me anymore and then they will go host. I cancel shortly afterwards hoping no one joins then I search, find them and join... Gotcha mother fucker!

It's so stupid but it's little dumb tricks like this you have to do in those odd situations just to get a rematch.

I hope all that made sense because I have no clue what I just typed. I'm tired, high off life and the new presidency and I have to wake up in like 5 hours or less.
