Good games to Shaka_Zulu(Goh) and Slide(Jacky).

Shaka-Defintely a different style with goh then I haven't experienced before and some of those delay situations between us were just too funny. Is he gonna attack? Is he gonna attack? GGs all around.

Slide-Thanks for putting my van through the ringer. Your jacky was crack-a-lackin my spine wit the YEAH's! Some rounds were sadisitc throw happy /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif and then some led by high k, 3k, 6p, etc. so defintely good shit on keeping things fresh and using for every one move 3-4 choices. I have to pump that up when someone can consistently change it up with moves and switch styles on the fly. Hopefully see you around online more.

GGs last night to Tha FeauchA.

Now I know what all the hype's about. Jake your Akira is soooo fun to play. You have a few situations where I don't expect the double palm at the end of your combos. I like it!

During one of our matches you had a total onslaught that took away about 60% of my bar and you tried to finish it with SPoD. Do you remember that round? The SPoD didn't work because the part of your onslaught right before that left me standing backwards. Maybe it was something I did. Anyway, since I'm not sure I wonder if SPoD can connect if the opponent is BT. If it could you would've had a 100% damage flow chart. Sheesh!!

The best thing about our matches is that I could feel the Minnesota play style once again, like it was at our local arcade back in the day. It's hard to describe and it might be immeasurable but there is something to that. I still think we had the fiercest and most diverse competition in the Midwest at the time.

If you don't mind me making an observation... once you become proficient with throws (because I noticed you weren't doing them hardly at all) you will absolutely be a force to be reckoned with, and no doubt TOP TIER!

Also SPoD doesn't connect from the back, only side and front /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

I'm not sure. I wish I would've saved that one. Also it doesn't help that I'm not too familiar with any of Akira's inputs. Man if saving matches only took a couple seconds I'd save every one!

Panther neogeo. Ur aoi can be really frustrating when u get ahead on the guessing game i don't know what to do. BTW do u think ur opponents are best off versus aoi doing no rising attacks? I found risk vs. reward for me said don't do rising attacks. : )
Shun is drunk. Is ur main shun? Well i got ur el blaze. I was irritated by our connection, and then realized i had my computer in my dining room on the internet. Same thing for Panther neogeo. Sorry guys. At least i caught it early in the day and only played u 2 with it on.
Exceptional skillz. U got a lot of characters u seem solid with. I'm always impressed when someone joins ranked with like 4 different characters. Good stuff.
Beligerent Feck. Ur wolf has some good potential. Try and work in throws more. U were tough when u did. I didn't expect u to win almost a 1/3 of the matches against me with wolf!!

Seriously though it was very tough on my end, i'd be at +100 and you could jab me out of anything, i'm not gonna throw when that's happening /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif I guess you could tell by my repeated use of 2p and 4k spam, haha. Fun games though man and thanks for the compliments, I appreciate it. I'll make sure i'm Akira next time I can use him in lag... just.

As long as I don't catch on quickly to what they're doing they can do what the hell they want...and I'll just do what I do. I think folks here think I done lost my damn mind with Aoi sometimes, playing as risky as I do...ask Blackula.

"High level" Aoi's don't use reversals, just the threat of them or so I've been told. Once I can get a well-rounded defensive game going I may ACTUALLY be dangerous. As it stands now I usually deal in a Reversing offense, or something. 'Course that just means I'm gonna get thrown a lot though

Oh yeah....Blackula: It was fun (even though was literally running into elbows, SHIN KICKS , etc. Just to hear you whining about my reversals was reward enough for me. Next time try spending your sessions INSIDE the ring for a change /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif lol

 

Damage for reversals got toned down quite a bit and they're hella risky due to them being easily punishable, still use them if you're pretty sure what attack is coming your way but there's far safer options.

Also I forgot to say GGs to Cheif Flash in my post earlier. Fun games Flash, your wolf is crazy. I find it funny that I know Wolf pretty well but had no clue what you were doing half of the time, thanks for the games man.

Btw, how do you think our connection?? In my opinion, I think our connection is better than before and pretty stable right?? You can easily escape " /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif " throw but it turned out you almost miss all the " /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif " throw escape..... I guaranteed you must do at least 2 throw escape coz I remembered you were the best throw escape player I have seen so far. I'm just curious what you did during our matches??

I see, and I also hate the lag....

But interesting thing for me is like I always miss the second input.. For example, I always do 643 but I don't know why sometimes that "4" doesn't work.... so if I realize there is some lag during the match, I will adapt myself only do two directions throw escape to make it easy~~~
About the giant swing recovering, all you can do is "P+K+G" repeatedly when you are closed to ground.... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif I know it's stupid but it works!!! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Was real fun lol, I laugh cause it's just so wierd that I ran into you on here like 10+ years later. Also funny that you mention you felt the MN type playstyle, cause when I played ya I kept it more conservative and poking more than I normaly do, don't know if it was cause you were Shun or just sub-consciously knew that you wouldn't mind/respect that type of playing like the good ol days of SF where we do fake outs forever till someone makes a move lol. Not saying I don't try hard when playing others, I always give 110% even if it's a begginer i'm playing against, I just tend to throw myself in the line of fire alot more when playing others cause I don't want the other person to think/feel it's boring or whatever I guess, I dunno. Don't know if that's what you mean..hek I don't even know what I mean right now lol.

Yea I remember that round when I tried to do that wall combo to ya lol, I figured it was just my punch button that went out cause I don't miss stun palms /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif j/k. But yea it was that combo B-Feck mentioned that I tried. Never knew you couldn't stun palm a BT opponent /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif so i'm guessing it was the postion we were in before I grabbed ya wich made you end up being in a BT position instead of a ST postion by the time you were ready to feel the SPoD

Yea I should throw more often, that's all I want to say cause I don't want to sound like i'm defending myself or making excuses why I don't throw as much but...I guess it's cause i'm used to playing abare opponents and as you know it's dang near impossible to throw someone that plays like that, wich is fine cause it's easier than TE'ng or fuzzying (is that a word?). I'd just have to play ya more (or anyone) so I have a decent idea of what you'll try to do in certain situations and all that crazy stuff.

I like how ya play your Shun too, it's real uniqe and I can really notice that type of free form, having fun, Legend of The Drunken Master type playstlye lol. It's real cool to watch. I could go on forever man so..All in all I was glad I could somewhat keep up with ya and Was fun to get to play ya and looking foward to some more games wicha man.

Oh yea, if you happen to want to save a match go ahead, I don't mind at all waiting for a moment. I usually am smoking when i'm playing so it'll give me time to kick back and take a couple drags, I usually am taking drags during end of round replays n stuff. It's not like im spazzing on the other end cause you're not hitting the rematch button right away, but I can see how you feel that way since sometimes if you don't rematch right away the other person leaves, aint gotta worry bout that with me bro. But I hear ya, it'd be nice to have a quick save type thing.

Great games wicha man, playing ya helps/helped me notice bout the stupid things I try to do like, attack on disadvantage..Wtf am I doing thinking I can win the clash when i'm at a DA lol, you play real intelligently bro by knowing when and when not to try things and you definantly make me pay for my mistakes.

Yea you're right I do try to evade alot, sometimes even when i'm at the advantage /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif guess that falls back on my reply to Jhow's throw more suggestion, but shit I was still doing the same thing like 10 matches later haha, it even looked like your character was standing there like wtf is that dude doing/he's still evading when i'm just standing here. No problem at all telling me that too man. I'll definantly work on that.
