LOL to this Lei-Fei player who said I'm a "cheater" with Jacky because i spammed his 3p+k. The only reason I kept using it because i wasn't getting the hit throw! At least I can pull off flash kicks with 50% success now, which is pretty terrible but ill take it.

GGs everyone i've played, it's great, Akira or not.

dblax and Cozby were the two I played today. Thanks for helping me realize what I need to improve on. Cozby was getting bored and owned me with Pai. ;(

This game is still good.

 

had fun playing punishing sould and WTSD obi. It was a goh filled first half of the evening.
Punishing, ven though u obviously weren't at ur strongest, i'm always impressed by how ur goh plays like he has a full repetoir of moves. It's like it isn't even goh,lol. It really is a distinguishing style to ur game. The only other goh i can think of that has a distinguishing style is gentlemanthief and the way he goes out there and domininates with such an economy of moves. THe guy seems like he never whiffs and attack.

And of course ggs to MasaRed. Man, just when i thought i was getting good. I gave u good games for about the first 10, but then it was a runaway. So really have problems with a few things. Like when i get frustrated at some of shun's hit boxes. Well, anybody really. But when i get punched out of a punch sabaki, or my oki jump kick gets prioritized by the very sweep kick i was using it to crush, etc--> i tend to really lose focus and intensity. Kinda like, WTF difference does it make. I get the opposite side of this when i'm winning too. I mean u put 15 or 16 straight wins on me. Now i'll play players where there is a bigger gap in skill between myself and them, then between myself and u, but i won't win 15 in a row, cause my intensity just bottoms out. Ok, well that's not so bad. But when i'm losing it compounds on itself. what do u do to keep the focus on. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth when not only are u better than me and beating me, but then i lose more than i feel like i should cause i'm going into a mediocre cruise control when i need to be stepping it up. Any advice would be appreciated. Feel free to PM me about holes in my game, if u feel like taking the time or effort. Anyhow, mad props. I wish i was as good as u at this game. Just crossing my fingers, hoping, and playing all the time and maybe i'll get there. Thanks for playing, i hope to do it again sometime soon.

No that's fine. I need to work on my Vanessa any way. I think I'll go through the move list a few times today if I can. I realize from playing you I really am lazy. I don't throw escape much and my reaction time is really slow. It took me 11 matches to win and finally my brain started to speed up a little and I started reacting a little better and TE-ing PGS.

No offense anyone, but I need to stop playing scrubs in ranking and seeking out more solid players like Lucky_GT - Slide - Dennis0201 - BlackBauer - Cozby - Numbers - XxMrs. RamboxX(who is this person style seems familiar) etc!

It's been really hard for me lately to find VF motivation, which no announcement of VF5R and now that WCG is over. My VF drive is just way down in the gutter.

Pure speculation folks, but I'm going to guess its Mista Tee!!!!!!!! You heard it hear first. I was the first to peg eatmykawk as Konjou and pm'ed him as much, no i'm risking my perfect record/ conquerer rank of guessing on claiming Mrs. Rambo is Mista Tee finally bringing Vane from player to ranked. and to validate my claim i usually barely beat his vane in player, and i barely beat mrs rambo in ranked the one time we hooked it up.

Not necessarily. I've played Mista Tee's Sarah, his Vane, and Mrs. Rambo. Hands down i think Mista Tee's sarah is the best of that group. Its all about match ups BF.

 

The more I read this thread the more I think that Sega is stalling on releasing VF5R outside of Japan to sorta force VF players to learn more characters and/or get better at VF5.

That comment wasn't really directly to players here. I guess I should have chose my words more carefully.

You can get in on the rotation if you want. I meant all the Kyu's and such that join my host games when I'm waiting in ranked. Most of them I have no idea who they are and I am sure they are not from here!
